This Wherry Best Bitter is my 3rd try of Woodfordes homebrew kits. The first was Nelson's Revenge. The second was Barleywine. All three have been excellent and in my opinion better than pub beer. I was looking for a brew close to a Northeast beer flavour (Vaux Samson, etc.). I can't say that Wherry is close but it is a very, very nice beer... Top marks. I'm buying another Wherry pack next brew. For anyone starting out on homebrew for the first time (this is only my third brew) I can guarantee, if you stick to the instructions, (which are not hard) and you are prepared to be absolutely hygienic with all your gear then you will make cracking beer... FIRST TIME!
Just be patient and wait 3 weeks minimum for the lovely stuff to clear.
