Good Points: Software contains many tools for comprehensive data recovery, including RAID arrays reconstruction, many customizations on so on. It supports many file systems and works very fast. Embedded heuristic analysis shows good recovery results on broken file systems. It supports customization for signature based searches. Now the software is only one choice to recover data from cheap NAS solutions, like TeraStation, Iomega NAS etc. In general, it has almost full functions set that one should expect from data recovery software.
Bad Points: Software in many cases is unable to reconstruct directories, so detected files are not classified. This does not affect recovery rate, but makes it harder to find files. Also would be nice to have file system detection, basing on file system backup Superblocks.
General comments: This software shows very good results in data recovery for almost all supported file system and is our Data Recovery software choice and choice of our partners.
Choosing this software we do not need to search any more for other recovery software.
UFS Explorer has good support; they do not decline even features requests.
We could recommend this program as software 'to have' for all professionals in data recovery.
