Web Raided Hosting are very unreliable, and now that they are out of business I guess I can go shopping for a new host. The stupid thing is, my domain is locked and I am supposed to contact web Raided to unlock it. Well, there is no web Raided to contact!! ARRGGHHH!!!

I find that my email accounts are unstable and server routinely drops. To this day one email account fails to send messages despite my efforts to resolve the issue.
Like the previous commentator, clients routinely report of messages being pinged back to them even though my account is clear.
I acknowledge that support is quick but the remedies are like band-aids, the underlying issue doesn't get resolved and you'll have to face it again and again....

In my opinion Web Raided Hosting (www.WebRaided.com) are a company to avoid. I'm finished with them.

Web Raided fails to provide customer satisfaction....only abuse.
I signed up on Web Raided on 28th Feb. Their website said $9.99US 12months. They charged me 12times this amount. No where throughout the sign up process did it say monthly/charged yearly or similar.
I requested a refund on 8th March and removed my site within 14 days of signing up.
I was told by Web Raided that I should have known that 12 months means 12 payments as my isp charges quarterly. Figure that one out.
Web Raided changed their website wording in late June.
I have rated Web Raided on the following.....
Rating 0=shocking to 10=excellent
Customer satisfaction = 0
Customer service = 0
Customer value = 0
Ability to address the issue in a timely manner = 0 Dispute started on March 8th....to date it has not been resolved.
Respect for customers = 0 Quote Wayne Brown March 10th "It seems that you are somewhat
backward". Insult #1.
Finds solutions to best suit customer and company = 0 Quote Wayne Brown March 10th "This
information will be used for collections agency purposes, and submitted to
the credit bureau". Threat #1. 2 days after dispute begun.
Negotiation skills = 0 Quote Wayne Brown March 11th "Karen, we disagree with you and we consider
the matter closed". 3 days after dispute begun.
Communication skills =0 Quote Cecelia Newman "However, we do not want to deal directly with
Ms. Bailey".
Ability to send promised refund = 0 No refund received to date. Quote Cecelia Newman June 22nd "We
simply want Ms. Bailey to get her money so that our team can concentrate on
making changes to our website". I gave them 4 refund facility to choose from.
.......and the list goes on.
I have never had to deal with such a rude and nasty company on or off line.
The last straw.......Cecilia Newman had the nerve to make this assumption
about me.
Quote "2. Instead we learned that GreatAutobarn.com found another provider
and wanted a full refund to pay the other webhosting provider".
Fact: I signed up with a particular host on 23th Feb. Changed to Web Raided
on 27th Feb as first host was windows only. I required linux. Removed my
site on 12th March from Web Raided and found another hosting company which I paid. How did
she work the above quote out????
Is Cecilia Newman calling me a liar: Quote "3. In addition,
Gr8Auatobarn.com actually pasted and sent us false information about the
amount their web hosting provider charges".
and here again.....
Quote: "This was actual proof to us that we were dealing with a business
that will take any steps (even to falsify information) to get free service".
Who was I getting free service off????? I moved my site and domain with 14 days of sign up and after 4 days of dispute started.
The above 3 quotes were sent to various other 3rd parties.

I was also hosted by Webraided and in the last year, their service went from bad to worse, until they shut down without warning, leaving their customers stranded. A customer I know is thinking of suing and good! They should be made to account for what they did.

If you have a .com domain, contact OnlineNIC.com. Webraided was a reseller of theirs, and ask them to disable the domain lock. You can then contact a registrar of you choice and transfer the domain.

If you have a .ca domain, contact Tucows at www.tucows.com. You should also have a CIRA registration so you can go in and change your contact details so you can transfer the domain.
