This paint has ruined our smooth walls. It's far too thick and leave the walls almost textured!!! (read more)

I used this B&Q Colours One Coat Emulsion over textured wallpaper with a thick brush and it did what i expected. The paint is thicker than ordinary paint and if you use it on a plastered wall it is better to paint two thin coats that one thick. Overall the product is good value for money. (read more)

B&Q Colours One Coat Emulsion goes on walls like treacle it is so thick, does not spread, dries before you start next section and really streaky has ruined our lovely smooth walls offered a refund for the paint and told to seek professional advice regarding further treatment to walls. Have said it all except DO NOT BUY THIS PAINT. (read more)

Not Reccomended at all. In my experience totally unsuitable for roller painting ceilings. 2 coats at least required. I gave up after 1 coat, too much dripping to carry on. (read more)

B&Q Colours One Coat Emulsion is a good quality paint, which does what it says; coat things after one application. I do have to say though, that I personally preferred to paint another layer on top to give it a better finish. I used the white emulsion in our front room, and I'm happy with the finish. It also meant I saved some money, as B&Q paint is cheaper than Dulux and Crown paint, and I have actually had the same 'problem' in the past with the branded paint too. Although these paints and...
