I've visited this site sporadically throughout the years, and every time I'm reminded as to why I NEVER stay long. The people in these rooms are the trailer trash of the internet. Rude, perverted, completely useless...and that's just the mods (if they're there at all). You can always find perverts flashing on cam and soliciting minors. the site is well run unlike its competitor ultimate chat whcih is banning user who use both chat sites

“Singles chat mods break the law with no concequences”

I was bullied out of chat by two racist mods in Singles chat. hales716 and Read my eyes. II have screen shot proof of their trolling and have submitted it and no one cares. They mocked my country and religion and said if I didn't like it that I should leave or be banned if I rebut. Title sums it up. Some children get on, ped os pretend to be children, and predators come to seduce the children and pretend children. That's 90% of the user base. First of all, the mods, NEVER do their jobs. Sure, they say "stop spamming, no cussing" etc, etc... But they do nothing about the perverts!I've sent a mod several messages saying "Ban this person, they were saying 'so and so'" I never get a response! I've visited this room many times over the years. There's always some form of conflict going on. The rooms always seem to be disrupted by some one being abusing or flooding. The moderators often turn a blind eye when it involves someone in their 'click' . In adult chat the room rules are posted at random in the chat forum. This site is a great place for spammers, perverts and people who want to be rude and annoy other users. Indeed the rooms capacity is 1000 people which is absolutely impossible to moderate especially when there's only 2 mods or less (sometimes not at all). Most of the time, the rooms only reach up to 200/300 users at the same time which is still too much. The chat-rooms are free to access for ANYONE (guests) which is terribly wrong because there are a looot of old perverts who 'play with... (read more)

It's like the worst ever. You go on a kids chat and there are like old people in it which is not for kids. And on the kids chat most people just talk about making love and more hardcore porno stuff. Video game chat is good though It's the only chat that stays on one subject.. Games. The mods is one thing that get me annoyed. After being on this chat room for sometime, I have realised that the people who run them"THE MODS" enforce there own rules. They also bring alot of there problems with them. I also find them rude and ignorant. If your face does not fit they ignore you or make your time on the computer a misery. Sir, you are just mad because you didn't get your own way on the site, because "Mods" are to busy looking out for "US" people. Do you know how hard they work? Every time a Mods on... they have to get to work, I really don't see what your trying to do here, are you trying to make the website look awful? If so let people judge it for it's self.

As of most chat sites, you're going to get pervs.... trolls... flamers...spammers... there everywhere! Everything you wrote there is a pile of poop, you need to take a long hard "SLEEP" and come back and improve this post tomorrow.

This site is well known for being poor at preventing men roaming their rooms and talking to children but what I witnessed tonight is beyond belief.
I have just come from this site and am appalled to have witnessed a fight between a moderator and nearly half the senior staff there. The senior staff were maintaining that there were and never had been any pedophiles on that site. The mod who is in these rooms all day said how totally rubbish that was and posted a link to videos of 4 grown men... (read more)

- The chat window is tiny so I feel I am constantly "squinting" at your monitor.
-As pointed out before by another guest, when you enter the "music room" there is nothing said in relation to the catagory.
-The community is generally rude, you might say "hello" and you will either get ignored or get an insultive response. It is very rare somebody will say "Hi there, how are you?" in my experience.

Some of the moderators on www.chat-avenue.com, though not all, give the impression of enforcing their own version of the rules... there are various rooms on the site but none of it seems appropriate to the type of content that I imagine should be in it..ie ...music chat is not music chat at all. Chat Avenue could use an upgrade in my opinion as it is a really good site with some very friendly people to talk to, however there are some bad points, the rooms tend to lag and too many flooders get in. Especially in the sports and music rooms. For the moment I do not recommend Chat Avenue until this has been fixed. (read more)
