    Good Points: nothing!


    General comments: BitDefender 8 Free Edition uses too much of the system
    Low detection
    Blocked my vista...
    Nearly blocked all my stuff...!(sorry my enlish)

    People who have researched anti virus programs and been impressed by the deserved plaudits earned by the commercial BitDefender may be tempted to try the free version, this would be a mistake. Unlike most other free anti-virus where the freebie is a slightly cut down variant of the current pro version, BitDefender have taken things much much further. The free version is based on the obsolescent version 8 of the software not the current version 10 and it's not a bit cut down, it's been hacked to ...
