Where should I start.... Firstly do not deal with the Birmingham branch, they do not update you and I no idea why they asign a customer manager to you as they do not help during the sales process. They lost the 2nd key and finally posted it 3 weeks later along with not having the v5. Following this I decided to change the car (less than 6 months of ownership) as I did not want a hybrid car anymore and wanted to go back to owning a performance car. Carsupermarket offered me £19k for the car and oversold it at £32k. Carwow then offered me £22k which I was willing to accept and absorb the negative equity. Someone from BMW Sandal Group came to view the car after winning the carwow auction and after a comprehensive report (which I have) the car did not match the initial description and turns out it is a lemon thus bmw refusing to buy it off of me. Therefore under Consumer Rights Act 2015 and Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations 2008 makes it illegal for traders to engage in unfair business practices, such as giving false or insufficient information about a car. I have raised a complaint, as the branch manager of Birmingham cannot be bothered to escalate it and customer services have not come back to me after 10 days which breaches there own complaints procedure. I have never been through anything like this in my life and would suggest people consider twice before purchasing from carsupermarket. Date of experience: 13 March 2023 Update, they are refusing to buy the lemon car off of me now!
