Service before was ok. When I eventually came to collect the car after issues of getting it ready on time the salesman was slightly rude on the phone as I was picking it up after his usual leaving time for work. I felt I was rushed through the paperwork and there was no actual demonstration of the car after the keys were handed over.

Before test driving my car I was not offered any help to get to know the car, I was given a key and told where the car was located. When I went to collect the car I was given 1 car key. I had previously been told by the staff member who made the sale that the car would come with 2 sets of keys. When I questioned the person who handed over the key/ wallet they questioned whether I was telling the truth by making the comment "Well I'm sure he wouldn't have lied".

I selected a Peugeot 308 for a reasonable price. Hilton promised to have the car serviced, brakes replaced, cleaned and paint scratches repaired in a week. The car is mechanically sound with a new mot. However, when I picked up the car, none of the cosmetic work had been done and it was not valeted. Hilton did repair some of the paintwork but not to the best standard (they did provide a loan car but it was still inconvenient to have to go back).

Ive recently brought a car from Hilton garage, it took abit of time to receive the car as they needed to respray the car. I was told MOT and service would be done but MOT was done and but no full service just oil refill only found out afterwards, then i had ask to get service book stamped.

We liked the way we were treated by our salesman, but the quality of the vehicle preparation between agreeing to buy it and when we came to pick it up was very poor. We had come a long way on the day and so we had to accept a less than perfect car and make do with apologies. The reason is lack of supervision of the work being done as the staff working on the car had the ability but not the inclination to do things right.

Brought a 12plate nissan qashqai 3 weeks ago and was a no pressure sales man who we deliver with didn't try and push the car and gave us time to view the car at out leisure, the car had a few cosmetic fixes which they said they would do before collection and they did them all however they did try and Polish some scratches out but have damaged the paint in the process so not impressed with that, on the hole happy with the service we received

Plenty of choice of cars test drive on your own so no pressure sales no messing about with prices which I prefer and gave me a gd price for mine however felt v rushed sales chap spent a total of 10 mins with us as he could clearly see other sales ....same on pick up day too and car wasn't as clean n tidy as I would have like due to this my car had to come back to have it mot and serviced bit of a pain that it was missed as it's an hr round trip for me and a 2hr wait !!!

Bought car from Hilton because it was exactly what we were looking for. Generally happy with service. Salesman had to jumpstart engine for test drive but assured us it would be charged or replaced before purchase. All well after purchase until following day when battery was flat (we had been learning about vehicle features etc.at home for about an hour). Jump started engine again for journey to coast over weekend ( covered 180 miles in all). On returning home battery failed again after a few days. I called Hilton and explained and took the car back for a replacement battery (60 mile round trip).Ok at first but battery failed again after running usb music player for around 45 minutes. Have since charged battery and hoping for best. Replacement battery was not new of course. Only other minor disappointment was the dirty condition under the bonnet which had pockets or dried leaves and debris and generally greasy condition on the engine covers.

When deciding on model got a feeling of take it or leave it attitude. Salesman requested driving licence so I could test car did not want to leave site incase he lost a sale.In the end came with me.When I asked questions about car was given incorrect information.left me embarrassed after leaving deposit to find out I was not getting what I thought.They did agree to rectify issue, but experience not good.lady who did paperwork was very polite and efficient. Was told 3 weeks ago the car HAD BEEN SERVICE AND yet I now have service notification on dash!!!

I came to buy a new car, It was very straightforward and easy Staff were friendly. However I found the sales man offensive. He only spoke to my partner about the paperwork, and the finance details even though we had made it clear I was purchasing the car. There was no eye contact with me, he also asked my partner how he felt the test drive was even though I was driving and he shook his hand and not mine. He even asked my partner to keep my documents safe for me, Like I am incapable. Is it because am a woman?? I would recommend because the prices and the car standard. But customer service was bad.

A promise was made to attend to a number of miner marks on the paint work after I had agreed to have the gardx treatment, your side of the deal was never upheld the marks were never done and I never received a certificate to say the gardx work had been done, also I had to ask for the courtesy pack.On the up side, your service Dept were very helpful and professional when it came to replacing my windscreen.

clean car as paid for gardex, a expensive price to pay for a admin cost, car was very sluggish, kept nearly conking out and was extremely heavy on fuel, when I complained was told 40 miles a gallon was good going, changed for another car at cost which im ok with, bar the fact it cost me a lot of money to switch over insurance etc, wont be returning

I purchased an S5 from Hilton the car was competitively priced when we viewed the car it was full of golf kit, okay there were a few scratches on the car the salesman said they would be sorted. When I picked the car up it gleaned had a look round great. When I washed the car I saw the gloss coat hid all the scratches and when I opened the boot I found the bumper to be very scratched I assume where the golf kit was ripped out. Why should they bother they sold it. I haven't said anything simply because they would say it was fine when you picked it up lesson learned examining is everything.

INTERESTING CAR BUYING EXPERIENCE ! The salesmen at the garage were not really interested in their job i inquired about trying to drive a couple of cars that were parked and the salesman seemed less than happy that he had to walk to fetch keys from showroom to move numerous vehicles so we could test drive the one we liked , eventually he got it out and of we set on a short run round and he basically was telling me that the car was high mileage at 50k and when i asked questions he knew very little about the product . i won t be going back there ever again .

I made a near 90 mile journey to see the car and on arrival I found the car covered in mud and the interior dirty with dog hair all over the back seats and boot. The car was running when I got there and I was told not to switch it off or it would not start again as the battery had been flat for some time. The salesman was helpful though and I felt no pressure to purchas.

I found the car I was looking for and completed a test drive. After explaining that I wouldn't be part exchanging my current car I agreed on a price with the salesman with a handshake. However, once the paper work had been done and a deposit had been paid I found an extra charge of £98.00 had been added to cover admin costs. This cost was NEVER mentioned during the negotiations and consequently left a sour taste to the deal. The new car was collected at the agreed time the following week and I have been delighted with it. Because of the extra hidden costs however, I would not recommend you to any of my friends and have indeed informed them of this hidden cost practice and probably would not consider using you when I next buy a car. Although your website makes reference to the charge, no mention was made at your garage until I questioned it. When I agree a price with a salesman on a handshake, THAT is the price I expect to be charged.

Overall a good service however even though we purchased a 3 year old car we were not informed the car had only one key. We did not realise this until we collected the car when we asked about a second key all we were offered was a business card for a local supplier of spare keys . We have paid £190 for a spare key if we buy another car from hilton garage we will make sure 2 keys are in with the purchase price . Since buying our car we have heard the same thing happened to someone else is this common practice for hilton garage ?
