    Good Points: The car is generally OK but I would be very concerned if something went wrong that needed fixing urgently.
    The 12 month warranty included in price of the car appears to be quite comprehensive but I have not yet tried to claim on it - they want to fix the current problem outside of the warranty for some reason.


    Bad Points: Sales manager makes all sorts of promises before you buy but you will have trouble getting much out of them afterwards.
    They are not cheap.
    They claim to have a 'fleet' of courtesy cars but I'm yet to see one.


    General comments: I very much regret buying from the Benson Motor Group. The sales manager is extremely pushy - if he gets started on you you'll find it hard to get away. The thing they really emphasise is a warranty they either sell or include in the price but they are reluctant to talk about details of the terms. They make all sorts of promises about after sales but I've yet to have any actual service from them. After I picked up the car I discovered one rear indicator bulb was actually snapped off (and it had just been MOT tested by them - so much for their checks!). The car still has a fault which they say they will fix free of charge. However, each time I have tried to take it in, they tell me there is no courtesy car available (this in spite of courtesy cars being promised before I bought). The latest excuse was that the courtesy cars are better than the cars they sell and the customers were reluctant to bring them back - what more do I need to say! There are several important items missing from the car which they have promised to chase up with the previous owner. I have no expectation of ever seeing any of these and will probably have to pay for them myself.

    you get no warranty either way and hensons buy there cars from auction anyhow and just charge you a few thousand pound extra for the privlage

    The Henson Motor Group Metrocentre branch has non pushy and suprisingly friendly and salesman, transparent and relaxed atmosphere to buy your next car, I was kept informed at every stage of dealing with the team.
    I would highly recommend my friends and family as they have a customer referral scheme which they give you money for reccommending a friend which is just fabulous.

    I visited there Metro Centre site which they informed me had just opened, Helpful staff, they where happy for me to have a test drive in a selection of cars before I made my choice. Will certainly be going back.

    I saved nearly £4000 after searching the internet for My BMW dream car and found Henson Motor group far cheaper than franchise garages. I did have a couple of small problems after collecting my car and they where sorted with no fuss.
    Would highly recommend this company for you next car.

    I bought a car from Henson Motor Group which leaked water into all the footwells. They were unable to fully fix the fault so when I asked them to re-try to correct the fault I was told it wasnt covered by the warranty and they only tried to fix the fault as a gesture of good will!
    From now on I'm sticking with a main dealer. You might pay a bit more I find the after sales much better.
