Awful customer service. I found the perfect dress priced at £1150 which i tried on went back a month later to try on the dress and make up my mind they then told me the dress has gone up to £1450 but if i bought it TODAY i could have it at the cheaper price this was on a saturday i asked if i could have until the monday to make up my mind as it was a lot of money they said there was no way i left the shop nearly in tears just to get a phone call 10 mins later saying actually i could have until monday. I left the shop without the dress as i felt annoyed that i has been pressured to buy i then found the same dress in another shop for £950. my friend bought her dress from there for the same price was told in march she needed to buy it right away as it was being discontinued - it is still on the designers website now!

I was very disappointed with the service that I received at Losners St Albans. After a lot of researching on the internet and through magazines on which designers I wanted to try on I found that Losners stocked the dress that I had fallen in love with.

Up until the moment that I paid for my dress, they were the nicest people that you could imagine, however the after service is appalling.

On my second fitting (this was few weeks before my wedding) I called up to confirm my appointment, the gir ...

This shop is awful. The Losners staff are rude and the customer service is terrible. They do not make you feel special and like you are their only customer getting ready for their special day. They hurry you out of your dress fittings and tell you anything to make you buy their products. They told me I could have my dress changed into a fish tail then when I bought it it couldn't be done. Would not recommend at all. Sorry, I know this contradicts some other comments but my personal experien ...

Please please please use Losners, St Albans! I couldnt disagree with you more. I have had an absolutely fantastic experience from Losners. I also have an essence dress and it is amazing it fits so well! The girls are all so lovely and helpful and the dressmaker has made my dress fit me perfectly! I am collecting my dress this week and am so excited to go back again!

Losners shop has ultimately failed in its desire to provide the best care for wedding brides. I feel that the manager and owner is rude, obnoxious and someone who clearly thinks she can do no wrong. After a series of mishaps that were clearly the fault of herself and her staff she tried to blame the events on my partner. I am gald that we were able to walk away from this store and not have to deal with them ever again. The only thing they did right was order the dress.

Please please please do not use this bridal shop!! I completely agree with the other comments - once they have your money, they really don't care about you at all. They have an extremely unprofessional approach and getting my wedding dress from there has possibly been the most stressful and upsetting experience of my life. When ordering the dress last year, I was told that everything would be perfect, the essence dresses were so well made that I wouldn't have to worry about wearing a bra (whi ...

I searched high and low for my dream wedding dress, i started off in the Bridal Departement in Harrods (as i was lucky enough not to be on a tight budget) after my awful snotty experience there i found bought my dream dress from Losners St Albans. This was most appropiate as i only live 2 miles away from there.

I was greeted beautifully as i arrived through the door (unlike in Harrods) and was asked all about my special day and what i was hoping my dress to look like. After 2 blissful hours ...

I bought my dress from Brides by Losners back in February. I have had a fantastic service from all of the staff at Losners I find that they are all very informative and knowledgable about their dresses. I just can't wait to wear it!

Losners have a good servcie when you try on dresses and allow to try different styles to find what suits you.

But I am afraid I have to agree with some of the other reviews - the after-sales servie is not so good.

As the wedding approaches brides want less stress, but Losners don't help out in this respect. After repeatedly asking them for a delivery date, they could not give me any information (never had time to contact the supplier) my dress miraculously turned up one day. I was so scared it ...

I went to Losners for my first dress trial...and ended up buying my dress! They have designer days which allow you to try new up and coming collections. They were all very nice and all the dresses are tried really suited me. They know what suits you and your body shape. The Changing rooms are fab..big with mirrors! Now for the follow up!!

Disappointed with aftersales service at Losners and the fact that they did not tell me about the hidden extras that needed to be paid.
Shop opening hours not ideal if you work - had to book for a late night really early on to ensure we could get the dresses altered

Quite a small shop with a good selection
I thought the prices of the shoes were outrageous

I originally saw my dress at the NEC wedding show at the Losners stand and arranged to try it on in their St Albans shop a few weeks later. When we arrived - my Mum had travelled 100 miles to come and see the dress with me - the dress had not been ordered so we left without seeing it. We ordered it in again a couple of months later - another 200 mile round trip for mum - and when we arrived were told that it was on it's way. I did try it on, still loved it so paid the 50% deposit and ordered ...

i bought my dress in January at Losners in St Albans, their customer service is very personal. They have a fantastic selection of dresses that i found it hard to choose from. I would recommend that you take a visit to the shop.

I choose my dress last week, which was a fantastic experience. I had been to 5 other bridal shops and Brides by Losners had the best selection by far. The girls in the shop were telling me that they choose them, they obviously know their stuff! I am over the moon with the service I got and the prices were very competitive. Would recommend a visit,

I bought my dress from Losners in St, Albans last week and I am so pleased with it!
I had been to 5 other shops in and around Hertfordshire which didn't compare to the selection and price. The girls in the shop told me that they help choose the dresses, they obviously know their stuff!
A very good store with a friendly atmosphere, would recommend a visit.

I made an appointment at Losners, St Albans to see the dressmaker as I had some beautiful silk chiffon from India and wanted a 3/4 length full skirted dress. On the appointment I did not see the dressmaker as one of the staff decided the material was too fine and difficult to work. They quoted £3,000 for a bodice alone, then I feel they tried to sell me a ready made dress which was on their agenda anyway. I felt I was being railroaded into something I did not want. I went to another dress ...

The expensive bridesmaids dresses I ordered, ( £285 each) 6 of them, were far too big. I even paid for alterations for all 6 of them and they were still no where near. Losners has not sized our dresses properly.

My bridesmaids ordered their dresses 5 months before none of them dramatically lost or gained weight.
Each of them went in for a formal fitting.
Each of them returned for an alteration session.
On the day when the girls put the dresses on in every case except 1 they were the wrong ...

I also bought my dress from the national wedding fayre and received fantastic service from all the girls in Losners.

I hadn't even booked my venue when I went to the fayre but tried on dresses and found the dress of my dreams. I decided to purchase it there and then. The girl serving me advised me to go to the store in St Albans to choose my bridesmaid's and accessories which I did around xmas time while my bridesmaids were off work. I received the same caring service from the same girl that ...
