“Too many emails!”

Written on: 04/12/2014 by Braxtonr301 (1 review written)

2 sleeveless pullovers bought recently as gifts, so not yet worn or "road-tested." Can't fault the delivery or ordering system but please stop sending so many emails! Asked for a review before anything had been delivered - far too soon. Several emails a week now, and I always tick the no promotional email options on order forms. This feels like bombardment and has put me off using you if anything… Read Full Review

“PERFECT FOR WINTER”

Written on: 19/11/2014 by duffy24dando (1 review written)

I have been a Wool Overs customer for sometime and have been happy with most of the garments Ihave purchased, This seasons catalogue offers much more choice in colours and designs. I would like to see buttons with a better match in some cases, the colours chosen are often "not related" to garment colour. The delivery of orders has been very good usually within 7days . Returns are made easy with labels provided and re-using the original invoice. Compared to other suppliers of similar garments… Read Full Review

“Happy with purchase”

Written on: 19/11/2014 by LindaWarwks (1 review written)

Ordered 2 scoop neck sweaters. Lovley colours, and good quality, but weirdly short in the arms so had to re-order the next size up. Exchanging the items was easy. Just as shame I've ended up with a baggy sweater rather than a fitted one so that I don't get cold wrists… Read Full Review

“Exchange slip-up”

Written on: 18/11/2014 by Franklin288 (1 review written)

After reading reviews I ordered 4 Jumpers in my normal XL size of which three were V-neck and one Crew-neck. I liked the feel and appearance of these when they arrived(very promptly)but they were a little too big, so I sent them back to be exchanged for L size. Again the delivery was prompt but disappointingly the one with Crew-neck had been changed to a V-neck and as I already paid over £12 for the original returns I reluctantly decided to keep it as I didn't want to pay further carriage… Read Full Review

“Pilling is a problem”

Written on: 13/11/2014 by xzReed237 (1 review written)

These are good, soft and comfy but have found that pilling can be a problem and just won't stop. So much pilling is being removed from one that I fear there'll be little jersey left. It might be just one jersey that's the problem. We'll see… Read Full Review

“100% woollen jumpers - hooray!”

Written on: 31/10/2014 by Donaldson397 (1 review written)

I loved Woolovers' catalogue - wanted to order lots of their lovely all wool jumpers. I already have two of their Arran jumpers which are gorgeous colours and beautifully soft and warm. Their merchandise is excellent value for money and the service excellent. I am very pleased. Jo Howe, North Glos… Read Full Review

“Lovely cardigan, easy to fasten”

Written on: 31/10/2014 by Holmesnl47 (1 review written)

For some time I have been meaning to comment on your cardigans, of which I have many! Normally I do not button them but when I do it is a bit of a job, because the button holes are tight. Someone must have told you because this latest cardigan buttons up easily. I'm delighted!… Read Full Review

“Great service, good value.”

Written on: 31/10/2014 by 83Baxter (1 review written)

I love the fact that the jumpers are pure wool. I like the styles and I'm fairly happy with the fit. I often find the colours disappointing...too rich when I'd rather they were muted, too muted when I'd rather they were richer...but thats personal preference.I think the value is indisputable… Read Full Review

“Excellent knitwear - does what it says on the tin!”

Written on: 31/10/2014 by 371Porterfield (1 review written)

I rencently purchased 3 cardigans in medium size as follows:- Two were made up of cashmere and merino which fitted perfectly but the one made up of silk and cotton had to be changed for a size small so something in the yarn makes it hang differently to the cashmere and merino. Also all these garments were not too short, i.e. length 23" for the cashmere & merino and length 22" for the silk/cotton mixture, though there was hardly any difference… Read Full Review

“Great Value Jumpers”

Written on: 30/10/2014 by McCollumze109 (1 review written)

I bought 2 medium Cashmere & Merino V neck ladies jumpers. Lovely colours, very soft. Only problem bit too long in the sleeve and body but that is normal for me, I'm an odd shape, rest of sizing is fine I'm usually a 10/12 petite. I like to wear blouse underneath so don't want a too tight jumper… Read Full Review

“Better Colour definition in Catalogue/Web site”

Written on: 30/10/2014

Having ordered a number of unisex crew neck sweaters they are great for body length but rather long in the sleeve, but then I don't expect you can everything in a unisex sweater. Given that that clour swatches are so small in the catalogue it would be helpful if you could ensure when going to print that you include a picture in each colour that you offer - not that you need to show each style in each colour but that somewhere in the catalogue you show a jumper, of any style, in each colour… Read Full Review

“Fit and colour”

“Would consider using again”

Written on: 30/10/2014 by AndyRobb (1 review written)

Have to say I wasn't sure what I was going to get when I raised the order, but am pleasantly surprised. The jumper I ordered is a great colour and the quality for the price is quite good. The fit is good, so sizing seems as described. I've also had cause to wash the sweater already and its come out well. Service was quick and pain free… Read Full Review

“Sizing is rather variable!”

Written on: 29/10/2014

Although I would recommend Woolovers to friends, because of the low prices and good quality, I must take Woolovers to task over the variability of their sizing. Last winter I bought some Lambswool Crews, and size Medium was the best for my chest size (36"). I followed the instructions for measuring, and decided 21" across from underarm to underarm was my ideal size. According to the chart, this is a Medium. This time, I double-checked and ordered the same size but the 2 Crews I received… Read Full Review

“Good Value”

Written on: 28/10/2014 by Ramseyse310 (1 review written)

For the price the item is good. I have another merino/cashmere from last winter. Once I realised it really needed washing after each wear it was fine. These are what I would call everyday wear, useful and warm. The sea green colour is very attractive… Read Full Review
