“Poor After Sales Service”

Written on: 24/01/2016 by 264Burns (1 review written)

Products generally good or better. Re latest order had to return as size ordered was not a good fit. They state reurns could take up to 20 days to process. Almost there now. Chased to see if thet were close to sending but no response. I don't think this is any near good enough. Other firms eg, Amazon, John Lewis, Charles Tyrwhitt can turn round in a day or so so why can't they? Delays of this length not an incentive to make future purchases… Read Full Review

“My thoughts”

Written on: 13/01/2016 by Aishas314 (1 review written)

Originally when trying to order a turtle neck sweater I found it baffling. It was only when my daughter showed me what to do that I finally ordered and received my request.I have above average intelligence I hasten to add. I probably would not recommend you to a friend owing to the fact I live in Spain and rarely, if ever, come into contact with other Ex patriots. Otherwise, considering my order arrived over the Christmas period it was received relatively quickly. Your garments are of high… Read Full Review

“Disappointed with sizing”

Written on: 21/12/2015

Loved the colour and quality of this jumper but unfortunately I found the sleeves were much too short and the width of the sleeves were enormous - more like a bat wing design. Also the roll neck was very high and needed turning down which then looked like a turtle or polo neck. Shame as I love the pastel shade and feel of the garment… Read Full Review

Written on: 20/12/2015 by Giuliana485 (1 review written)

I was upset that the invoice gave the jumper width as 22in while the info given prior to ordering gave it as 20in. As a result it cost me £3.90 to return this to you & request the smaller size. This arrived quite quickly & is fine but had the correct info on sizing been available prior to order & not after you had access to my money I could have ordered the correct size & not had to pay to return the wrong sized item. Please ensure all items have correct sizing available prior to purchase &… Read Full Review

“Not as good as before.”

Written on: 15/12/2015 by zuStephenson158 (1 review written)

Ordered a Black Fishermans Jumper. Always had navy blue before . Arrived quickly but on inspection there were several pulls and faults in the knitting. Some loose ends sticking out as well. I have managed to repair all faults with a crochet needle pushing or pulling the faults inside. For the price paid I would have thought that a better inspection process could have been done before despatch as faults were immediately obvious. Will look at other suppliers before I order again… Read Full Review

“Replacement not in stock”

Written on: 15/12/2015 by Marianna215 (1 review written)

On the original order the sleeves were too bulky and wide. I requested a different style that is out of stock. It would have been a lot more helpful to know if this would be available for Christmas or approx time of delay… Read Full Review

“Quality control.”

Written on: 23/09/2015 by kfSilva284 (1 review written)

I was disappointed with the quality of the large cardigan that I ordered, because after washing the wool looked knotted. Also a previous garment has got a hole in it I did not complain before but this time I will. … Read Full Review

“very speedy service, but sizing much larger than elsewhere”

Written on: 21/09/2015 by 414White (1 review written)

I ordered the cotton silk cardigan in a large, 16/18 and found it so big, I had to reorder it in M. As I am a size L to XL size 18 everywhere else, you should be aware that the sizes of these clothes are very generous. We should be warned about this as we have then wasted money on postage to send the item back etc… Read Full Review

“Sizes were much bigger than stated”

Written on: 19/08/2015 by 166O'Hara (1 review written)

Average to good quality but the sizes I received were 7 to 12 centimeters larger than advertised, Extra small was much bigger than Marks and Spencer's medium. Maybe this is done to flatter the buyer but I expect to receive the size I ordered as that's what I know will fit… Read Full Review

“Silk and wool tops with the different color necks”

Written on: 06/08/2015 by AyannaSpears (1 review written)

Very nice feel to them but could be slightly thicker as not to see through if that makes sense. They are thin because they are summer wear I guessed. What I'm worried about is are the winter jumpers going to be thin too because they are made of both wool and silk?… Read Full Review

“Not made for tall women”

Written on: 06/08/2015 by QuintinYoung (1 review written)

I have been looking for a long time for a long cardigan and was so happy when I saw what I was looking for on Wool overs website. I then decided to order 2, a black and a blue. Got the wrong size to start with but also had issue with length of the arms which was above my wrist, so not happy. So had to return the cardigans and didn't realise you had to pay for the return which was very frustrating. I swapped for the smaller size which was much better but unfortunately the length of the arm was… Read Full Review

“quality and washing instructions”

Written on: 26/06/2015 by suebeat (1 review written)

I have bought a number of jumpers from Woolovers over the last year, and am reasonably happy with them, but I do have two concerns. One is that there is 'bobbling' under the arms even after only a couple of wears and the other is that according to the washing instructions the cotton and silk jumpers should be washed as wool, but in the brochure it says to wash as delicates. I have washed the 4 cotton and silk jumpers at least once as wool before I saw the instructions in the brochure (ie I… Read Full Review

“Merino/Cashmere Cardigans. ”

Written on: 26/06/2015 by Kay-Joan (1 review written)

I am delighted with the feel and quality of the two cardigans I bought recently. However, the sizing is not as advertised. I chose the Small size = 18 inch/46cms width. They actually measure 19.5 inch/50cms width. This makes them 3 inches/8cms wider than I wanted and the result is that they don't fit me as well as I had hoped… Read Full Review

“Good colours and choice of garments”

Written on: 19/04/2015 by Wonderousone (2 reviews written)

I have two Wool Overs ladies crew neck sweaters in merino/cashmere, I must be the only person that doesn't think these sweaters are wonderful. I am amazed that the cashmere content is 30% because to me they only feel the same quality as average lambswool. My husband has a Lyle and Scott lambswool/cashmere sweater(only 5% cashmere) and that is far softer that my Wool Overs sweaters. I am very disappointed they are not softer but, on a plus note their range of colours is brilliant. Interestingly… Read Full Review

“QUESTION OF SIZE”

Written on: 04/04/2015 by scotsguards (1 review written)

I would like to say the jumper I ordered arrived early which was good, and arrived in good condition. The problem was I ordered a large size jumper and received a large size jumper, and it said large on the label of the jumper, but it was more like a XLarge or maybe even a XXLarge, but it drowned me which is a pity because it was a lovely jumper. I was going to ask for a medium but did not want to take the risk in case it was too small, as a medium is always too tight. I had previously bought… Read Full Review

“Sizing - body length”

Written on: 04/04/2015 by Penelopes314 (1 review written)

Good quality garments and prompt service. However, had to exchange 4 garments as they were too short in the body. I am not particularly tall but the medium size was too short. In the case of 2 garments I had to exchange for large size to get the body length. In the case of 2 V neck sweaters I opted for a style change although this was a little more casual than I wanted. As I had already bought 2 slinky polos in medium which were of a satisfactory length, I found this disappointing… Read Full Review

“Extremely poor after sales service”

Written on: 03/04/2015 by Jaylee257 (1 review written)

I bought a lovely sweater which I didn't wear for a few weeks, when I got it out to wear I spotted a small hole just under the collar point where a stitch had not been knitted and it had run. I contacted Woolovers to let them know but said as it was small I could stitch it and I would not be sending it back, but I thought they should know so they could check the rest of the batch. I heard nothing from them,I resent the email and did get an answer asking me to send an electronic photo to their… Read Full Review
