“Blue pullover ”

Written on: 07/03/2014 by 337Brown (1 review written)

I am not satisfied because the lower border is too wide and totally unflexible… Read Full Review

“unisex cable jumper and a chunky knit jumper”

Written on: 27/02/2014

I spent ages considering and reading the size guide for my husband and myself and noted the 'generous sizing' comment. I am 5'4" and the jersey for me is just too short for the width and the jersey for my husband is very tight… Read Full Review

“Disappointingly poor quality”

Written on: 04/11/2013 by Merlybogs (1 review written)

I purchased my winter wooliies wardrobe from Woolovers, having been recommended by a colleague. Initially I was more than pleased with the available styles, colours and fit. What I wasn't prepared for was the quality of the garments and the apparent lack of after sales customer service. The lambs wool jumpers are very itchy, requiring an extra layer underneath. The slinky polo jumpers started to bobble after just 2 wearings. I sent 2 emails to Woolovers and gave heard absolutely nothing. I… Read Full Review

“blueberry unisex jumper”

Written on: 24/10/2013

I thought this jumper was nice when it arrived, although it was quite loose fit. I have worn it a few times and it is getting baggy. So looks like an old jumper already. I will return it for a refund - sorry… Read Full Review

“sweater extremely transparent :(”

Written on: 25/09/2013 by flyingscot47 (2 reviews written)

Having ordered from Woolovers before I was eager to try a sweater made with cashmere/wool blend as I found the lambswool turtle neck sweater extremely itchy round the neck. I loved several colours but decided to order just the white one as a test and if I liked it I would order it in Pistachio, Pink and Black. The sweater arrived and it felt lovely and soft but trying it on was disappointed to see how see-through it was--yes I know I could wear a tank top etc underneath it but I do not… Read Full Review

“Beatiful, but poor quality.”

Written on: 06/07/2013

The stitching on the sleeve started to come away and fray the first time I wore it, but I couldn't face the hassle of returning it and so fixed it myself. Otherwise, it has a beautiful fit and comfortable material so I would consider buying this item in another colour, hoping that the poor quality stitching was anomalous… Read Full Review

“Disappointing quality”

Written on: 09/06/2013 by Ruth00 (1 review written)

The sizing, colour, fit and feel of this tunic are excellent. I was delighted when it arrived. However, it has now been worn three times and it is pilling badly on the front and sleeves. This is very disappointing. I will wash the garment as instructed and attempt to remove the bobbles but I don't think that it will last very long. It is already looking too shabby to wear out - after one week!… Read Full Review

“White Polo Shirt”

Written on: 02/06/2013 by 7294 (1 review written)

This "white" polo shirt was not white. The colour description should be more specific - ice white, cream, winter white etc. I was expecting a white polo shirt and was very disappointed. I had to pay to return it as we'll which was annoying… Read Full Review

“Arms too long”

Written on: 01/06/2013 by khartoum (1 review written)

a nice comfortable cardigan of quality but the arms are at least 4 inches too long, the only option is to turn back the cuffs which then looks terrible..As it is the cardigan is off to a charity shop with regret. My arms are a normal length for a person of my size… Read Full Review

“My grey cardigan”

Written on: 01/06/2013 by doubtful (1 review written)

Having shopped with woolovers for many years I have always been very satisfied until now. I was ordering a grey cardigan for myself but when it arrived it was obviously one made for a man because of the way it buttons. It is still in the packaging and I doubt if I shall ever wear it. P. “Disappointed”

Written on: 11/05/2013 by mauritius9 (1 review written)

I had great expectations of Wool Overs, however these have not been met. I bought the sleeveless black top (c8) and the black cardigan (c9). However, for both items, I had the same issues: 1. I was disappointed by the colour which was not really black and the contrast was very apparent when I wore it with my black pencil skirt at work. 2. Also, after the first wear, there was considerable bobbling under the arms. I would not purchase again and would stick to the better quality items from… Read Full Review

“soft wool and not much of it”

Written on: 06/05/2013

I bought a red Aran style pullover and a green Fair Isle style one. They were the right colours, the right sizes. But these are woollens which should be heavy and hard wearing. The Fair Isle in particular should feel hard to the touch. They were soft, and lacking in body, the Aran had visible holes every so often in the cabling design… Read Full Review

“Sizing has changed”

Written on: 05/05/2013

We have purchased a lot of items through Wool overs over the last couple of years and are very happy with the quality of the garments but with the last 2 purchases the sizing seems to have changed and the garments are too large and have had to be returned and exchanged. Not happy with this as there is the extra postage costs. We had the same problem earlier this year and even a recent roll neck pullover which we ordered in the same size as one received is larger! We thinking that we may not use… Read Full Review

“Quality of Goods”

Written on: 07/04/2013

We have purchased a number of items from you over the years and very recently we have had at least 4 - 5 garments. We have been very disappointed with the quality of the jumpers and despite only wearing each of my latest purchases only three times (maximum) each of the polo necks are 'pilling' dreadfully and now look rather unsightly. We experienced this with several garments that we ordered for my husband (over the last year) and I have contacted you on occasions to raise this concern. Only… Read Full Review
