Good Points: When it comes to ADSL capabilities, Star makes sure that all your business needs are met by offering not one, but two ADSL packages. ADSL Classic and ADSL Max are available for businesses with standard bandwidth needs and those with bandwidth requirements that exceed the norm, respectively.
General comments: Star offers businesses the option of single or dual ADSL connections to meet their bandwidth needs. ADSL lines are asymmetric because information flows faster downstream than upstream. Star's ADSL Classic package comes in options of 2Mb, 1Mb and 512k downstream and 256k upstream. The ADSL Max package, however, is capable of 8Mb downstream and 448k upstream. The Max service also comes with traffic shaping options. All services are backed by an Service Level Agreement (SLA) that guarantees 99% availability.One of the risks of using a broadband Internet connection is that your bandwidth could be used up by unwanted and undesirable traffic. With Star, you needn't worry about this as they provide sophisticated anti-spam and anti-porn services.
