    I have been with fast.co.uk for over 4 years and in many ways they are an ideal ISP.

    I have had good constant speeds and only one disconnect.

    Fast are pricey and as I am retiring soon I have decided to request my MAC and shop around for a broadband / phone bundle.

    The customer service is usually excellent but I am rather disappointed to say that I am having problems in getting my MAC code from them at the moment.

    Overall it would be unfair of me not to rate fast highly. It's just a pity that I am probably leaving them feeling rather peeved at the delay in getting my MAC code!

    Have read some of the recent one star reviews with some disbelief. Have been with Fast.co.uk for about two years and overall, I am very impressed. Reliable connection and speed and above all, excellent customer service. When you ring for support, the phone is answered promptly, normally within ten seconds and you are speaking with an English speaker who knows their stuff which makes a change from a foreign call centre who's third language is English.
    Worth knowing - if your internet speed drops ...

    I am really dissapointed with this ISP, and I think their customer supporters have been lying to me. I seem to have an impossible to fix problem of dialup speeds. Every day, all day, for the last 3 weeks I've put up with speeds of dialup. All you'll ever be told is to check your router, check your wiring and so on, when it's never even you. After enough evidence to prove the problem wasn't being caused by me, I was just being ignored and they will constantly lie. Fast support maybe, good support ...

    paying for a premium service, recieving dial up speeds. Technical support fob you off although quick to reply. Also been extremely abrupt on the phone. avoid like the plague

    Beware of Fast.co.uk - at first glance they seem like they're an excellent company, especially in contrast to many other broadband companies. Let it be noted though, it's all a facade. After a short grace period, be prepared to experience a variety of disconnects and speed changes. Further, the usage caps become problematic.     Absolutely love the Fast.co.uk customer service - just call a normal number and get through to a person who knows their stuff and doesn't make you go through all sorts of stupidly obvious procedures and checks.

    Download speeds are pretty good and consistent, not throttled as far as i can tell.

    My only issue is the high price - i don't mind paying a bit more for the good service but sometimes I am tempted to save myself £15/£20 or so a month by switching. Having said that - when I d ...

    An alternative, just throw your money in the bin with the satisfaction a big company doesn't have it. All you are doing is paying a premium price for the exact same product (or inferior in most cases)than every other provider. But if you have a problem instead of speaking to someone in mumbai you get a call back from a good old fashioned british idiot who still just reads from a script.     Been with Fast.co.uk for 2 months wish I had changed before, customer services first class no overseas call centre's have had no problems to migrate apart from previous suppliers software (AOL) (always off line) would recommend to anyone and have do so!

    Fast.co.uk Is expensive and not all that much better than cheaper providers in terms of speed.
    it is nice to speak to a person who understands english, pity the one on the end of the phone for set up didn't understand what she was doing and had my flat mate attempting to connect through another ISP

    Fantastic company. They have the best customer service I have ever received. I have wasted so many hours on the phone to other ISPs like virgin ,tiscali and nildram who were all terrible.

    I emailed customer support (at 10pm) because I went over my usage. I got a personalised email from a REAL PERSON within half an hour saying that it would be added within a few minutes. Can you get this service from any other provider?

    Having suffered the declining service of AOL for the past two years,and after spending a great deal of time trying to find an efficient Broadband provider I have just subscribed to FAST.co.uk HAVE I STRUCK GOLD... YOU BET!!!

    Switched away from Fast to O2 as it meant a saving of nearly £20 per month. I was asked to email them a list of personal details and account info which I did (ommiting my router password as I had forgotton it). They emailed me back asking for the password so I sent them the number along with a comment saying "you don't make this easy do you?".     I use this ISP for my home and business broadband.
    The service is first class and the tech support is even better, they actually care about your end of the phone line and not just what they can see on their screens like a lot of other companies.
    I cannot recommend these guys enough, the only downside is that you cannot get an unlimited service (100gb a month would be ridiculous for me though, I only use 10gb a month maximum at home and 4gb at work) and the prices are definitely on the high side ...

    Been with them for over 12 months and I've never had a problem. My router reconfigured itself and the helpline was like ringing up your uncle who also happens to be a tech-head wizard. They're knowledgeable with out being patronising and just enourmously helpful. I can't rate them highly enough. I'd Facebook them if I knew their names.     Excellent phone manner and staff are both knowledgeable and courteous. I would definately recommend this provider wholeheartedly. The actual connection is great with no lags in the evening or at weekends. Couldn't ask for more and am a very happy customer.
    Great broadband with no fuss. I found the support staff to be very competent and recptive and helpful.

    Odd that this ISP has a 3 month contract, yet unlike many others there seems to be no reason to move away. Yes you can get cheaper - but after hanging on to an 0845 number for ever before finally speaking to a clueless call-centre monkey I'd rather pay extra and have lower blood pressure.

    No 0845, no automated phone answering, no being plunged into a telephonic abyss when you're placed on hold. Callback rather than hanging around waiting, and when the help comes it goes above and beyond.

    Having used other ISP's who have employed underhanded fair use policies, have provided under educated technical support staff and have no concept of what a customer acutally is ... fast.co.uk has been a breath of fresh air!I have only been with them for a week now, after migrating away from EzeeDSL, the service has just been excellent. I guess the moral of this is, you get what you pay for!

    Migrated to Go-fast after constant cut-off connections with my previous ISP.
    Dreaded having to set up my computer to a new ISP, but I was guided over the phone by a very knowledgeable member of their support staff, and within 2 minutes I was connected and online.
    A breath of fresh air and worth every penny to have peace of mind.

    All good points after moving from Nildram my drop out had stopped and my speed was up. Even told me about a problem with my line and got it sorted 6.1mb from a 8mb line Im over the moon with that...
    Im going to move my second line to them as well, Very pleased with the service 100% Keep it up Fast.co.uk
