    Bad Points: No bad points so far


    General comments: Have had this Samsung LE40R87BDX a few months now and have not had any problems at all - Set-up was easy, the tv works great and the build quality is excellent.

    Great picture quality, masses of features/config options, and a wide array of inputs.

    The Samsung LE40R87BDX is a Fantastic product really pleased with it many friends have commented on the excellent picture quality, people who paid a lot more for high branded goods! You do have to set it up properly though otherwise you can have ghosting and picture shake. Bought a 19" for my son!

    I managed to get the Samsung LE40R87BDX badboy for £500 off ebay almost 8 months ago, looking in some shops it was at £1200. what a steal.

    I would stick to a CRT for picture quality.........but this is great for posing and it doesn't take up nearly as much room as a CRT as long as you can live with the picture.

    Have just purchased a Samsung 40" HD LCD 1080p. Connected through my V+ box and set up for HDMI and an expensive HDMI lead. For some reason people seem to be standing out from the background in a weird way. As if they are super imposed on a blue screen!!! And also there is some sort of haze around all the people on the screen too. More noticeable when they are moving. Has anyone got any ideas please.

    As with all Samsung TV's the LE40R87BDX is sleek and stylish, easy instructions, I also purchased the surround sound system HTTX35R, easy to set up and sounds excellent, no negatives on this at all!

    After a lot of searching the web and going to local shops I found this model Samsung LE40R87BDX 40" Widescreen LCD TV, it had a great price £764.50 which included delivery. With auto-setup, side connectors for easy access, 3 HDMI connection and many more. I plugged my Xbox 360 into the HD components terminals at rear and my games came to life. The detail was fantastic! A great TV for that price. Some shops which I won't mention was selling this model for £1000.00 to £1200.00.
