“I Must Admit I Was PLEASANTLY suprised after reading...”

We travelled From Sydney to Melbourne return On 17 May and I must say that both myself and I were very pleasantly suprised. I used the Tigerair Online cCheckin and also printed our boarding passes. The site was avaible for check in 2-3 days prior to the flight, thus all we had to do was walk in through gates and board. In fact with less than 5 minutes to go we boarded plane with NO WAITING. “Tiger Air aiming to maximize profit at all costs ”

My brief acquaintance with Tiger Air has left such a bitter taste that I will never fly with them again and will strongly dissuade family, friends and colleagues from using this airline. I did not receive timely information about the terminal change at Perth Airport, now departing from the same area as the international terminal. once again the borderline legality, evasive, questionable ethics, sly, sneaky stereotype of SE Asian business is confirmed in making an on line booking with Tiger Airways. Customer must be bright eyed/fully awake to discern the pre-checked boxes in the carrier's favor for early boarding @ 150 baht each way. “There is a reason why Tiger Airways is so cheap”

It is hard to resist a bargain and Tiger Airways offer some very cheap prices. But the service is bare bones. Most people will get lucky and have no issues other than a delay. For me I had a much worse problem. They lost my luggage! Now I understand that this can happen to anyone but it is how the matter is dealt with which is important. “Check in Personnel is the start for your nightmare!”

6/3/13 Family of 4. Sin to Mnl. From the moment we start checking in, she made sure that we could barely understand her, there was a mentioned of bags being weight in but instead she left us standing there and when she came back she did not acknowledged us and started organizing the long lines that was behind us. “Luggage Arrived With Next Flight”

I took their flight from Singapore to Bangkok for a 3-day trip. Upon arriving, I was not able to locate my luggage at the designated belt. After waiting for a full hour, I made a report. I wasted the entire morning waiting for 'miracle' to happen, and I decided to proceed to Pratunam to purchase my toiletries, which took up the whole afternoon. “worst airway service!”

Tried to login to their website to change flight details before flight time. 4 hours is what was specifiied on their website. 4 hours 10 mins before flight time, we went in to the website and tried to change the time but the system did not response at all. “I was robbed on a flight with Tiger Airways!!!”

On 28th of May, 2013, I was flying from Hong Kong to Singapore. I was robbed on a flight with Tiger Airways but their crew did nothing to help me. One of the passengers stole about 3400 US Dollars in cash that were on my wallet that was on locked backpack. “Tiger Airways passengers are treated as animals”

My wife and I and two kids arrived in Sydney airport on 12:50 PM Monday 15 April 2013. Our flight was TT571 2:10 PM to Melbourne. I checked the screen, the flight was on schedule. “baggage booking not included by supervisor”

On February 16th 2013, I made a flight booking with a supervisor via telephone. I clearly stated I wanted 20 kilos checked in baggage for my parents flying from Bangalore to Singapore. “Better and cheaper than Jetstar!”

I thought that they provided a service that equals the dirt cheap price I paid for the ticket! I found the staff to be more normal and friendly than Jetstar. “Tiger Airways - Providing a great DIS-service!”

I would absolutely never recommend Tiger Airways. After I booked, I had to call 3 times to get them to send the pdf confirmation through to me (and they state they won't let you check-in without it). Tiger Airways has no online check-in facility, no email address to contact them & the online form is a sham (it's not even a submittable form), that simply wastes your time to ask questions, then redirect you back to call them. “Extremely Poor Service”

It is virtually impossible to get through to the airlines call centre, as it either does not connect or will eventually disconnect you halfway during your call. I spent an hour on the phone trying to get through, and had to call many times in a row, and ended up talking to a call centre outside of Australia (where I was calling from). Boarded TR2112 from SIN to BKK on 26 October 2012 with a hand carry luggage which weighed less than 5kg. Have never been so disappointed and frustrated in all my travels. Flew Sydney to Melbourne and was 4 kg over my weight in baggage and was charged $80!
