The kymco is a fanstanstic reliable little scooter, overall haven't had any real problems with it except for the rear mud guard coming off, and the exhaust muffler comming loose.
Travelled 250 miles each way to my sister's and back on the A1 non stop, and it performed without any problems, except for the need to fill up 3 times on the way.
The kymco is incredibly light and pulls well, even on very steep roads with no lack in performance. Basically the torque is fastastic but the top speed is… Read Full Review

Read Full Review

I have bought this bike in Portugal in April 2010, it is now 5000KM.
At first it would look like a good investment, but now I am not so sure.
First of all the good things:
Confortable, reliable, good looking (and that's it).
The bad things:
Build quality is not very bad, but could be much better. There is an annoying noise in the exhaust cover. Te bolts are constantly loosing. Noises in the front wind protection.
The tank size is ridiculous. 5 liters, is good for about 100km in the city… Read Full Review

Purchased in May 2010 for my son to go to work. Had it for three months and it stopped. Was in the shop for 4 weeks. Kymco and the dealer had never heard of the problems. Replaced all the gears, the clutch which was gone, and the oil was burnt. Was told SOL (sorry out of luck) on the length of repair. There are no lender bikes until yours is repaired. Huge inconvenience. Taking it back this week for a check, sounds off again. Can not recommend this bike for reliability.
Should not… Read Full Review

A great all rounder. Build jsut as well as many of the italian scooters. The large wheels make it a comfortable ride. Top speed isnt as high as some 125's but it is called the city after all and not the motorway cruiser.
Seems good on economy, can get about 60 km/h out of it up the very steep long hill to my house. Engine sounds nice and it easily copes with two adults onboard.
Handles well, accelerates very well leaving all traffic standing. Feels as good as a Benelli, Piagio etc. The… Read Full Review

Have owned a Kymco 125 for 2months and have roughly travelled 1500kms. Prevously owned a SYM dd50 and travelled 19000kms over 3 years. The Kymco is a simply brillant machine 3 litres per 100kms plenty of pick up and travels well at speed. The DD50 was awesome but as a male weighing around 100kgs its great to have a little extra power… Read Full Review

After buying the Kymco Agility in mint condition at 7000km and having used it everyday since I have truly experienced ups and downs of this bike. I do feel it is quick and it does shock people in cars how fast it is as a scooter. When you really go for it and thrash it it fails to be up to it. Getting hot on an amazing road for 5 mins proves it will easily over heat and never restart with out dismantling it. Problem was loose connection on HT lead. Unless you have knowledge about engines it… Read Full Review

Gy6 engine based scooters should do okay, dealer and importer very bad experience.
Think is one off bad scooter consider SYM instead selling almost identical Honda engine based scooter. Even the dealer doubted Kymco and said they would stop selling (but they were not dependable before themselves!).
For highway too slow but possible consider 200 cc instead
Oil change recommended every 2000KM very short period!… Read Full Review

I have ridden over 4000 kms in 6 months on my Kymco Agility. Due to low width, low weight and handling - it is a treat to park and cut through city traffic. It has enough power and stability for highway travel, below 100 kph. With still wind, I have taken it as fast as 100 kph… Read Full Review
