    I had this Comodo AntiVirus 2.0 beta software and at first i though it was good but after a while my laptop slowed down and it was taking forever to do anything and after a while none of the application packages was working and i had to format the laptop. I dont recommend this antivirus software to anyone.

    Comodo AntiVirus 2.0 beta is really a best free antivirus and internet security . I'm using frequently and suggested to most of my friends.

    Comodo AntiVirus just did everything I wanted and didn't distract me with useless "Buy Full Version Now" messages. It was not intrusive with messages except for new programs. Select trusted application and you should be fine. It learns really well about your applications. It used low resources.Did everything... Firewall, Online Security, Real time scanning. Awesome

    Comodo AntiVirus 2.0 beta is free. Fantastic virus detection compared to Mcafee and Bitdefender. I had Mcafee for years and Comodo on its first scan picked up 13 threats. Great firewall that is flexible and user friendly. Contant updates. Great overall experience so far. Have been using it for about 4 weeks now. No problems.

    Was very good - used it for a long time. Now part of COMODO Internet Security (CIS) which doesn't run on current version of XP (only on SP2). Antivirus cannot be used alone, only as part of a bundle which won't run o n XP SP3. Therefore I do not recommend Comodo AntiVirus 2.0 beta.

    Free for business, light weight and fast

    To many aplications blocked by default, picks up my networking tools as mass email spammers and to many dialog boxes asking me to submit applications to comodo labs
    It's a good antivirus, far better than Avast / AVG, I recomend it to people who don't want to pay a lot of money for Security Software!

    Comodo AntiVirus 2.0 beta is all in all it's a satisfactory Anti Virus software. And it is analyzing other applications with the co-operation of its users to make Comodo much stronger as the time goes on.

    Life time free license; Free updates ;excellent on access real time scanner; easy to install and uninstall; very handy. all features like that other well known antivirus works best with COMODO firewall 3.0 pro ;and with comodo bo clean malware(free) remover. Excellent product by comodo team

    So easy to set up, low resource use, install and forget you are not bothered by nag screens, effective and unobtrusive, will soon be no.1 contender for av setups.
    All in all I find this better then avast, avg and anti vir.Cannot comment on the likes of kaperskey and nod which are too expensive for me personally.I would reccomend this Comodo AntiVirus 2.0 beta anyone.

    Guys, read the Comodo AntiVirus 2.0 articles. Prevent, Detect, Cure. COMODO is based on preventive actions!! No AV does that. White listing and black listing. Preventing the virus from INFECTING so it has to be detected. That is some good AV. The EST!!

    Locks files so you can't open or edit or delete as far as I am concerned - message comes up that file is being used by another process. Process turns out to be AntiVirus cavse.exe. I found this AV to be very invasive of my system. First install I did all three Comodo programmes - Firewall, AV, BOC Clean - un-installed BOC Clean after one day after no end of hiccups and process turned out to be the comodo ones blocking me. Had problems starting up - no icons, had problems shutting down, took ages ...

    I give this beta a 9, just cause is in beta. But don't take my word for it, try it your self and I know your going to like it.

    If you don't have any kind of antivirus I would really recommend this one, and when the final version comes out simply uninstall the Comodo AntiVirus 2.0 beta and install the final version. I also recommend the Firewall protection, it has really kept me in a safe mode.

    In my opinion this is going to be one of the best free antivirus to come out they are putting a lot of time into it as a beta and very upfront about the product unlike many other vender's. Recommend Comodo AntiVirus!

    AntiVirus 2.0 beta is unusual among the freebies in that development of the project is funded by other divisions within Comodo, the Antivirus is free to all potential users and is a complete product with all features available at all times. There is no Pro version with extra features financing the freebie. This does not however mean it's Open Source, the product is a commercial item owned by Comodo and is subject to the usual copyright regulations.
    It's a nice product that scans any executable ...
