I have had the car now since 15th Jan, but I have not received the V5 yet. I did phone up Bayacar to inquire of the V5, I was advised that DVLA take up to 6 weeks to issue. According to the Bayacar blurb, I should be listed as the first reg keeper. Until the V5 turns up, I can not confirm.

Hi no, i took a chance on that, I did not have a trade in, so unless the delivery people had two forms of transport I guessed it would be delivered by low loader.

I don't have a trade in either. I just ordered a Qashqai. I live in the middle of nowhere too so maybe it will be on a low loader too. Thanks for your reply.

Oh well done, I was after a Qashqai, but I had to be practical as I am nearing retirement, and there is just the two of us at home now so I went for the NOTE, and I am very happy with it. Just need some decent weather to enjoy it more, getting out and about.

One bit of advice then, if you are far from a fuel garage. Your new car when delivered to you will have NO fuel in it, so advise you have a can of fuel at home, unless you have a fuel garage very very near by.
