    Good Points: Easy to use.Personal profile with hold bin.Lots of music and exclusives.Long previews.High quality drm-free music (mp3).


    Bad Points: A bit expensive. Seldom have album discounts.Some music is terroritory restricted.


    General comments: I really liked the www.beatport.com website till i found cheaper alternatives.I still use it to find interesting music and listen to music i want to buy...

    I"m surprised by the negative beatport reviews on this site. I've used beatport for several years and have downloaded 100s of songs with only minor problems. Downloading songs can be a little tricky because Window Explorer resets the webpage each time you try to download material. However, you just refresh the page and your fine. I've never had password problems and I've never lost a download. I would highly recommend this site to anyone looking for the hard-to-find electronic tracks. Your acco ...

    Personally not happy with how the store works.
    Checking out works roughly 1 in every 20 tries for me
    The store continually declines my credit card for mysterious reasons, blaming the problem on my bank in my opinion.
    The customer services was not helpful I feel, as I felt the the site might have a problem.

    I'm concerned about the integrity of this site and I wrote an email expressing this concern. I have experienced login problems even with 'resetting' my password. "Error' splash screens abound. Customer Service in my opinion were unhelpful therefore I do not recommend Beat port.com

    Before you buy, try looking on another site. You will find It cheaper, dont recommend Beatport.com for the moment...

    DJ Download is overall, a pretty good site but as mentioned the preview samples and download speeds leave a lot to be desired. Huge selection... basically the Walmart of the dance music download industry - there are defintely cooler sites out there.

    This is probably the best site for fully-licensed underground dance music. I've used it a couple times and have always been pleased with the results. They have plenty of selection and several partnerships with major dance labels such as KOMPAKT and CrosstownRebels as well as Internet radio station Proton Radio and DJ software Native Instruments Traktor.

    The fact that you can browse for new and old releases by genre and preview tunes is a godsend when finding the right kind of tunes for you. O ...
