    try getting a new battry for one as far as the tool it self is concerned ash tray and motor bike roasted snow and ar"""""""" seem about right

    The Performance Power PWR18VSGTA 18v Cordless from B & Q is great when it is peforming well, but alass the cordless battery does not last long and it fails to charge and I have not been able to find a replacent battery for this item.
    I even purchased another trimmer to enable me to use the battery in the first trimmer I purchased, but again after minimal use the battery has died on me, so I now have 2 trimmers in good working order but no batteries.

    I would not have bought this item if I had known that, after 2 years, I am still trying to find the spare part! The strimmer hit a stone and the plastics holding it all together on the bottom broke.

    I believe that these Performance Power tools should be a permanent feature on the retail shelves. Yesterday I enquired at B&Q, and I was disappointed to be told that the Performance Power PWR18VSGTA 18v Cordless strimmer and other Performance Power tools are not on their list any more. Why in the world is this?

    The Performance Power PWR18VSGTA 18v Cordless strimmer is let down by the poor quality battery and charger, making it useless very quickly.

    Being lightweight, the Performance Power PWR18VSGTA 18v Cordless is particularly suitable for ladies and the elderly as there is no mains cable to get in the way, and you can get to every corner of the garden

    By not being able to replace the spool locating cover should the locating lugs break off it renders the trimmer useless - this naturally is a major fault with the product.
