Good Points: Excellent feel to this large good looking pistol. Actually, its weight keeps it really steady, unlike my old senior. I am getting good groupings with this gun. I can't believe they sell them at this price. Of course, the way the law is going, you wont be able to get anything this powewrful soon. Grab'em while they last!
Bad Points: Ummm...Not at the price.
General comments: I think that the Webley Typhoon will probably be the last Webley-times and gun designs change, as do prices of labour and raw materials. This is where we are now for a serious beginner pistol. Wish I had this in the fifties stead of my old Diana!

I have a Webley Senior 1932 vintage a Webley Hurricane 1977 vintage so I felt I had to have a Typhoon, what a mistake, it is not comparable with its predecessors in build quality, design or accuracy. It looks to be what it is a cheap, foreign (Turkish) import. Mine purchased mail order had to be returned, at my cost, as it was shooting so high I could not adjust the sites, it was replaced by one with a split in the moulding, the second time I used it the large screw below the rear site fell out, ...

There is nothing good about the Webley Typhoon that I can think of - and there are certainly no reasons to ever go out and buy one, because this pistol really is terrible, and it brings shame to the Webley name.
The Typhoon is without doubt the heaviest and largest pistol I have ever handled - it's very hard to hold out at arms length for anything longer than five seconds, and even if you manage this, the chances of hitting the target are small because of the poor open sights - I could barely ...

Very disappointing. The heavy non-adjustable trigger really lets it down. It is not really usable even for plinking as the trigger is so heavy that at more than around 6 yards hitting anything is just chance. Webley could do much better than this. The recoil absorption sled system is good but a bit pointless as the heavy trigger makes it so difficult to shoot the gun accurately.
If modern rifles can have decent adjustable triggers why not this pistol - and you don't have to pay a fortune to get ...

I waited 6 weeks for the .177 model and am pleased to say I it was worth it .
A large pistol in the fashion of the old Bsa Scorpion and the Sussex Armoury Jackal in the early 1980s.
This comes in black ABS synthetc and steel construction .The action is mounted on a sledge which absorbs the recoil from this powerfull pistol
I tested 7.00g geco at 530 fps which I think was 4.5 fp.
I am able to hit knockdown rabbit at 20 and 30 mts I even hit the score area but that was luck .I was using th ...
