We bought the Selmer Reference 36 Tenor, had it for a couple of days and took it back. Then the replacement was OK for a while but eventually we took it to a Sax repairer who showed us several things that were obviously not right from the start. Posts were re tapped and other things, after which it played OK. We sold it because it was not as good as our Yans or our favourite, Reference 54s, so was not getting played.
