Absolutely awful - really wish I had googled the company first before buying from them.

Slightly cheaper than elsewhere, but the statement "you get what you pay for" is so true in this case.

There is no way to contact the company after buying a phone from them. They actually make false statements in their emails and tracking system (such as phone dispatched, tracking number xx etc. when they haven't actually sent anything at all). I have proof of all of this in screen grabs etc. but it won't do me any good.

I didn't think companies like this still existed online, as the loud voice of the consumer quickly forces them to correct things. In this case, they don't care once they have your money.

I can't say it strongly enough - DONT BE TEMPTED TO SAVE A FEW QUID BY BUYING FROM DIAL-A-PHONE

DIAL-A-PHONE will take your money and then ignore you.

DIAL-A-PHONE do not care about customers.

Found a great offer on dial a phone for a HTC Hero with a free laptop! My Daughter wants a laptop for Xmas and as I was keen on the Hero it seemed ideal.
Called dial a phone discussed the offer, placed the order. Easy!
THEN I found this site full or bad reviews for dial a phone!!
I spent the next 24 hours worried sick that the phone would not arrive, the laptop would not arrive I would not be able to get hold of anyone to chase or complain. The next day delivery was to be between 9 and 5. By 4 ...

Recently bought Samsung S3500 on PAYG. I'm quite organised at checking bills and household costs etc and spent a lot of time searching for a phone for my purposes.
Saw Dialaphone website and it is as easy to use and purchase from as any other phone website. Phone arrived on time but credit (purchased with phone) was not added within two working days as they told me it would be. I could not confirm receipt of phone due to zero credit and could not use another phone to confirm receipt. Tried to co ...

I've used dialaphone twice - 18 months ago I got a Samsung F210 on O2, plus a free 17" Samsung LCD TV. All arrived ok. After reading some of the reviews on here I was nearly put off using them again but have just got an HTC Hero on Orange and can't fault the service - phone arrived next day and really pleased with the deal. I guess when their systems work they work well but if you are unlucky and have to use customer services, you are really unlucky!

I ordered a phone from Dial-A-Phone and waited all day for the phone to arrive on the day they said it would. It never did. I decided to give up on this company and go with another. I heard nothing more from this company. A few months later Dial-A-Phone's solicitors phoned me up telling me I owed them whatever the amount was for the phone asking me how I was going to pay it. Not once did they call me or send me a letter about the whole thing, nor did they send me the phone I was supposed to get ...

ordered a phone and was a quick delivery but phone broke so Dial-A-Phone tried freeloading me off with a repair when it wasnt me as it was broke when i had it, and i am still waiting for the new phone. they said i would get one if i sent it back and had several delivery posponed emails which have annoyed me. their slogan should be dial a phone good on prices rubbish on refunds or dial-an-answering machine because that is all you get with the number. i am really annoyed would never use again :(

This firm is shambolic, the customer service department is the worst I have experienced. They do not answer emails and it is impossible to speak to a human on the phone - they use an 0844 number so are not cheap.

They fail to deliver as promised and send automatic emails confirming dispatch even though this a patently not the case.

If all goes well with a purchase then they are probably OK but if something goes wrong then good help you because Dial-A-Phone won't.

Phone did not arrive when arranged - was 2 days late - and I wasn't informed of this until the last minute. This meant having to stay in yet another day.Sim not registered with Vodafone until nearly 3 weeks later due to Dialaphone not passing details to Vodafone.Despite canceling free insurance within 30 day period via the facility on their website, their insurance co.took a month's premium claiming they are 'a separate company' and have to be informed separately. All calls to customer services ...

    RUBBISH!
I WOULD HAVE GIVEN IT NO STARS BUT THIS WEBSITE MADE ME CLICK ON ONE STAR!
If you need to contact customer services expect to be on hold for at least half an hour. They are only open 9am-6pm Mon-Fri but don't think about calling after work as at 5.30pm you get an answer phone message saying they are closed and at the same time saying that they are open until 6pm! Call the 'sales team' and of course you get through in less than one ring! But of course they can't help you. If you try calli ...

Experienced two problems, one minor, one major. The minor issue was the phone arrived without the free gift 8Gb memory card, which was supposed to be in the delivery package.

The major issue is, Dialaphone appear to have sold me a Blackberry on a price plan which does not include the Blackberry internet service! I was having problems setting up my email, so I called Vodafone customer services who informed me that I need to pay an extra £5/m for the Blackberry service. How can a company se ...

I have phoned there Automated service several times and found this extremely frustrating and all i got is there is no free gift linked to this order. I brought a phone from Dial-A-Phone over 4 months ago and have been regretting it ever since. There is nothing wrong with the phone, or the service I receive from Orange. The problem is purely with Dial-A-Phone.

I purchased the phone for my daughter. The deal I signed for was £30 / month reduced to £20 for the lifetime of the contract. Dial-A-Phone are supposed to credit my Orange account each month so that I only pay £20.

After a month of the contract starting I recei ...

Would never use Dial-A-Phone again.Really disappointed, product not sold as described and phone was dirty and protective screen cover removed and stuck back on haphazardly. I have given 1 not zero as they offered me a refund with reimbursed postage, but I would rather have been sold the product with the accessories described on the order page as would be the case from a reputable seller in my opinion.Spent 45 mins mostly in a calling queue for customer services about it on a national rate numbe ...

NEVER buy anything from DIALaPhone. You will never be able to speak to an agent from after sales department. They only speak to you until they sell the contract, then they dont care as they know you are stuck with them.

Bought an O2 PAYGO Nokia 5800, Dial-A-Phone Sales team told me they are brand new, however the box came with the seal broken. Rang O2 and they said to send it back.

This is not good ! Time wasters.

I bought a mobile phone online with dial-a-phone, at first everything went well and i received a confirmation email from them. However the day after i placed my order i recieved an email stating that they required proof of who i was in the form of a bill or bank statement, which seems a completly unreasonable thing to ask for. I then rang the customer helpline which was a complete nightmare, before even getting through to a human being you encounted the problem of your DOB being changed to 1753 ...
