    Good Points: A great setting and the heated pool was a real bonus as I don't recall this being advertised. Large pool, with only a relatively small deep area, also a lifeguard attends all the time. You could always, just about, find a sunbed. I would think couples with kids will really like the place, snacks and drinks at the pool bar seemed reasonably priced.


    Bad Points: We paid extra for a room with a sea view - do not be fooled into doing this. Our view was the walled garden, but you can see the sea if you stand at the edge of the balcony. Self catering facilities were very basic, virtually all of the balconies are shaded due to the architecture of the building, unless you get really lucky expect this. It is quite a climb up to the square and back down into Santa Ponsa - this didn't bother us, but you do need to be active if you choose the hotel


    General comments: It was a bit on the expensive side to stay here, the Aparthotel d'Or Jardin de Playa, with the biggest disappointment being the sea view extra charge. I would recommend it if you can get it at the right price. Santa Ponsa itself is really picturesque and there is plenty going on at night without it being as rowdy as I would imagine Magaluf could be
