    Good Points: Excellent food, great views


    Bad Points: Sunbeds by pool very uncomfortable as no mattresses and not able to raise up to sitting position. Have to pay for remote control with tv otherwise it won't work but you do get BBC and ITV programmes !


    General comments: Overall a good hotel, clean and friendly staff, close to the square for good bars and entertainment in evening, very quiet position about, 20 minute walk to beach which is a bit hilly coming back but taxi quite cheap!

    Great views, from the room we got eventually. Food quite good. Staff friendly. Do not accept room 403 unless you like views of either pipes from indoor pool or a scruffy garden. Good hotel except room 403.

    Great views. Good food at the Hotel d'Or Punta del Mar. Clean. Don't accept room 403 unless you like pipework or scruffy gardens to look at from your balcony. Went on holiday in May 2008 with Direct holidays.

    The Hotel d'Or Punta del Mar is very clean. The food is outstanding. The staff are very polite and helpful the views are outstanding this hotel are perfect.
    2 words.. totally amazing.
