Good Points: Safe as is possible, friendly resort as is cala millor next door. hard working staff, well prepared hot food. Free entertainment every night, even nightly bingo 8 till 9.(English version only).good pool, plenty of sun beds. Bus stops on main road behind hotel .good views of bay, front hotel, or countryside, rear hotel.

Bad Points: Girl who comes in and does the nightly bingo takes too much cut, ( one third per game ) comes across as all in all out, its not, as we noticed .she makes about £90 per hour (3 games while we stayed to play.) don't know if she gets payed off hotel too? not bad eh, I'm sure the bar staff could provide better odds, and could do with the extra cash also. Only other bad (good) point depending on your view, sulking teenagers who dreamt of losing their virginity this year, in a noisy night club, try the WATERLOO club, down the road kids.

General comments: hola......if you go to the cala bona hotel you will meet mostly mature, English, people. You will eat in a friendly atmosphere, clean and unrushed. If your a couple, you will nearly always be asked to share a table of(4). Unless you request not to BEFORE you arrive. I saw an elderly couple ask to be given their own table, while the other couple sat and watched, the hotel being busy, refused, oops, not much said on that table then. Over-all the resort of Cala Bona is a busy sea port of call for pleasure boats and private vessels. Its clean and free from young drunken idiots, as is calamillor. On many visits we have never seen any bother. If you want to see, or take part in sordid street sex with your new found friends for life mates, please go to parts of Ibiza. Get a taxi to the nearest market(Wednesdays) at Arta, its the easy way to go to the same market that travels the lovely island of mallacor. Get out and about. As always, learn a few words and sentences in Spanish, it works wonders, muches gracias, my amigos. idios.

We arrived at the Cala Bona Hotel in Majorca a bit lost as there are so many buildings. However, once we settled in it was brilliant! The pool area was great and spacious, and you didn't have to get up at 6am every morning to grab a sunbed; you could get one any time of the day. The food is quite basic, but who eats much in the heat anyway? The staff are all brilliant, and very friendly. The rep was very helpful too.

Overall, we had an amazing time, and having only been home for 2 weeks, I am ...

We will be returning very soon. We had an excellent holiday. Everybody was very friendly. Not only in the hotel, but it is a very small, close knit community and everyone knows everyone.

We made some really good friends, who I would love to meet again.

It is my third time this year of going to the Cala Bona hotel, I would say it suits all age groups but I wouldn't really recommend it as a lively clubing holiday it is more for families. The beaches are beautiful!!!! All the staff at the hotel are very friendly and always willing to help in everyway possible the ensure your stay there is only the best. You are very local to everythink including bars, shops, beaches, pay phones, taxi ranks, and it is only a 15minute walk into Cala Millor.

Would have been a lot more enjoyable at the Cala Bona Hotel if having paid for air conditioning you actually had full use of it.

Very good holiday, we have been going to the Cala Bona Hotel for 10 years, and we meet the same people every year, who also go back time and time again.
