    Good Points: Holds up to 20kg video camera, can be used with various tripods and carts.


    General comments: The Manfrotto 116 is aprofessional grade tripod head for video cameras.
    It can hold almost any video camera that weights up to 20kg.

    This head can be used with various tripods or carts (the same as dolly but contains a small shelf for monitor, VTR, power supply and etc).
    It comes with removable plate which holds video camera (usually via cameras tripod plate for better stability, but can be used directly - depends on video camera).
    Manfrotto 116 enables left/right and up/down very smooth moving positions, it has handles and screws to fix the camera in wanted position.

    This professional, really heavy duty and durable head, built with a great quality, like a tank, can serve for many years. Also it has a big safety coefficient, because most of modern cameras weight much less than it can hold.

    I really like it because of very simple and comfortable use and great usability with most of video cameras in the market. This tripod head with video cart cost about 250$ in a used condition. It shows signs of heavy use, but does the work like new and probably will serve me for many years.
    I would recommend to buy this tripod head used or new for most of video production applications. It is one of best tripod heads in it's class that I ever seen.
