This bike is indestructable. I have the 2007 model, and that means its been in service for 5 years. I started off on light trails and slowly made my way to the knarliest trails in Surrey ( Barry Knows Best, Yoghurt Pots, Summer Lightning etc...). Yes my bones got shattered because the suspension could barely keep up, but that is probably because i didnt keep it in great condition.....But it STILL worked!!!! This bike is great for beginners and will serve you well, i would advice getting an… Read Full Review

Had the GIANT Boulder 3, 2011 model for just over a month and loving it. It is the cheapest GIANT mountain bike you can get with front suspension - replacing the GIANT upland SE from 2010.
I ride it on Saturdays and Sundays about 50-60km each time on cyclepaths and have yet to take it on some light trails. It handles very well, smooth and quiet, smooth gear shifting. Excellent V-brakes. Front suspension is 80mm RST Capa and works well for my weight (about 75kg). Can't wait to see how it… Read Full Review

I own a boulder fs/2 from 2002, and apart from 'normal' maintenance it's a great bike; the sram 3.0 has never let me down; the suntour frontsusp. is still in good shape...and believe me: it's been used...;)
i did replaced the cassette, and the crankset; although i regret thar; the original blades a really big!
Great bike; get one if you get the change!… Read Full Review

I've had this bike now for about two years. It is by far the best bike I have owned. It is non restrictive and powerful. As there is no rear suspension you don't lose any power and can easily top 34mph on a flat with no wind. It looks fantastic and is hard wearing. I have been hit by a car on this bike and it has survived without a scratch (although I did need to re-straighten one of the wheels). The EZ gear changer system is wonderful and smooth and works great going uphill and downhill.
