Good Points: Excellent writing, well developed ideas, keeps to the bare essentials, but gives you enough to want to keep reading.
Bad Points: There weren't any, as far as I am concerned.
General comments: Haruki Murakami Hard-boiled Wonderland and the End of the World is a Wonderful read. I read it for a Philosophy class I am taking and I appreciated the opprotuninity to read this. If taken for the value of philosophy or just as a really good sci-fi/private eye/fantasy book it is most enjoyable.

'Hard-boiled Wonderland and the End of The World' is an excellent, darkly surreal story set in modern Tokyo with a alternate reality story running concurrently, both converging with frightening pace and intelligence. Very strange but fantastic.
