Great car fast and practical no problems go test drive a then stop smiling I will be modding mine into a real beast. Changing turbo, intercooler, straight through de cat dual exit exhaust. New bumper to get rid of horrible plastic trim and to suit exhaust cold air intake and remap. Plus all the little bits with it.

“I ordered a brand new Seat Leon Cupra with the extras...”

★★★★★

written by spliff1star on 12/06/2007

I ordered a brand new Seat Leon Cupra with the extras which included the touring car rear spoiler not the standard Cupra spoiler. Also side skirts. The Cupra is a completely different model compared to the Leon fr 170bhp diesel turbo and Leon fr 200bhp turbo. It has the best front racing seats in the hot hatch market 2nd the Astra vxr. The handling and ride are excellent. It has so much grip and can easily handle the 240bhp threw the front wheels wid no major torque steer. The acceleration is the best thing about this car especially as mine has been super-chipped and now produces 300bhp. Golf GTI 2.0 FSI turbos have no chance. Even the new Audi s3,s which I really find amazing considering the standard Cupra produces 240bhp and does 0-60 in 6.4secs where as the s3 which has 265bhp does 0-60 in 5.7secs so either the quattro system on the s3 is extremely good and can get to 60 7th hundredth of a second faster than the Cupra. Now these two models share the same engine and having owned a Audi I know they aren't light and the seat even though its a bigger car will be lighter. So either the 0-60 sprint is down to the quattro system on the s3 or there must be some slight modifications the the s3 unit. The Cupra has to go against other hot hatches like the wild vxr but I found the Cupra quicker more solid and quicker because it handles the power better.I wasn't a 5dr person only when it came to evos but the seat looks good and pulls it off well. Its completely different inside compared to the model it replaces the Cupra r. Its a quicker car than the Cupra r as well but that does not mean the Cupra r should be overlooked as that is still a very good car. If you are after a fast easily tunable solid car the Cupra is the one and Evan the previous Cupra r.
