Good Points: Sturdy construction.

Bad Points: Smeary picture, average sound.

General comments: Out of the box you're immediately impressed by the Panasonic TX32PS12C's sturdy construction of the cabinet and it inspires confidence in the product.
Once set up I put a DVD on and thought the picture was suberb. Very contrasty and very sharp, just how I like my picture to be. However once I started to 'live' with the set I noticed some dark smears on the screen when viwewing sports. Once noticed I started to see it whenever there was a predominance of one colour on the screen. IE A bright sky, lots of grass etc.
The sound was okay but nothing to write home about and at times I struggled to make out the words.
In the end the smeary picture was doing my head in so I changed it for a Philips 32/9308 and haven't looked back. It's shame because this is a well made set and Panasonic have a deserved reputation for quality but on this set the picture and sound weren't quite as good as the Philips.
