After a few visits to the Bromley store I decided to hire the mens suits from them. What a huge mistake I made, How could anyone measure 4 men and get it so wrong. The groom had to wear the bride's fathers trousers as his were 2" too short. My dad's trousers were to small so he had to wear his own black trousers and the other two sets of trousers were to tight round the waist. One pocket had tobacco in it so hadn't been cleaned properly and one shirt didn't have the cuffs to put cufflinks in. So...

I went to the Pronuptia Hatton Garden store last April to try on wedding dresses. The sales assistant was lovely and friendly and there is a decent sized area to try on wedding dresses and walk around in them (some stores I went to were tiny and poorly lit). They do have a large decent selection of dresses. Sadly that was the last time I had good service from them. I went a second time to try on the dress I liked and show my Mum. The sales assistant then was a new girl who was undergoing training...

The first time you go to the shop everybody is so friendly and helpful, after that the SERVICE IS TERRIBLE. Once the cheque is handed over they do not want to know. Went into the shop to pay for the dress and accessories. My daughter had ordered a swatch of the dress material to purchase shoes but she did not get it and one year later she still has not got the swatch. Her wedding is in 5 weeks time. She also ordered a yard of SATAN MATERIAL to have straps made. They gave her TAFETTA MATERIAL. So...

Never been on a review site before, have signed up to many as a result of my experience at Mia Sposa Pronuptia to try to stop others going through the same thing. In short, 11 errors with the wedding dress, including things being spilt on it, hidden holes in the seams, empty promises and a whole lot of unneccessary stress. Talking to other customers it seems it wasn't only us. Am fighting tooth and nail to get my money back, please don't give them yours. Awful, awful, awful. ...

I visited the Pronuptia Central London store yesterday (recommendation: don't look for Pronuptia on the sign - I had to walk a lot because I was looking for 'Pronuptia,' but they have changed their sign and since some time, they call themselves Mia Mia - but how do you know? They could at least update their website!). I had an appointment, and the store looked pretty calm - no other customer. I had just started browsing through their dresses (as indicated by the assistant) when she started pressuring...

Incredibly rude woman serving us! I had driven past this shop a couple of times and decided to make an appointment to try on a couple of dresses. I brought my mum along with me. I had heard one negative report from this shop before but decided to go along with an open mind. As we walked into the shop the lady (who was serving us, named Sarah) said she recognised me from school and we talked for a couple of minutes before trying on the dresses. I found a couple of amazing dresses, one of which is...

I got married earlier this year in Greece and I went to this store a year before to find my dress. I found it quite quickly but the lady who served me was incredibly dismmissive and I felt rushed to get my dress on then off and then ordered out of the shop. I got married earlier this year in Greece and I went to this store a year before to find my dress. I found it quite quickly but the lady who served me was incredibly dismmissive and I felt rushed to get my dress on then off and then ordered out of the shop. She was incredibly rude to my sister too who came along with me. I was measured up for my dress and she said I was a size 6-8. I thought this sounded a bit small for me but trusted her judgement. Three months later I went for my first fitting and it was far too small! I couldn't even get the dress around over my hips!! She then accussed ME of putting on weight as her measurements are "usually right". I told her that in fact I had lost weight, as many women do in the lead up to their wedding!! She said she would have it taken out. I wasn't stressed or panicked as I had plenty of time before the wedding day. My second fitting the dress was still too small and I was told they couldn't take it out any more than they already had so another dress was ordered in the correct size of 10-12. Third fitting, this was too big, fourth fitting slightly better but too long. By the time of the final fitting it was a week before our wedding and the dress still wasn't right. I left the shop in tears and my sister then called the shop to complain. they promised my dress would be ready in time. I didn't believe them but it was all ok in the end thank God. I would be very cautious about ordering a dress from this branch. The service was appalling and they didn't seem to care at all about the importance of getting it right or about treating their customers with respect. I know the name of the lady who served me there but I am reluctant to put it on here as I feel bad!! There are other bridal shops that will treat you much better.

I recently went to Pronuptia (now Mia Sposa) in Hatton Garden. I wasn't expecting much because I walk past the window on the way to work and the wedding dresses on display are always awful and half falling off the model(think big fat gypsy wedding but not as well made!). I thought I'd give it a go as they sounded cheerful on the phone, they were local and convenient to nip to after work. They do have a large (basement) room with rails and rails of dresses - so the choice, I thought, would be there....

The lady on the phone happily told me I would pay up to £200 maximum to alter the dress (I described what needed to be done). Got to the store, and was told I could not lose weight before the wedding or I'd be charged twice!!! - what bride doesn't lose weight before the wedding!!! I wasn't told this when I booked my appt! I had an appointment at the Hatton Garden store yesterday, and was amazed by how unpleasant the whole experience was. The selection of dresses was quite poor (particularly if, like me, you are not a fan of OTT detailing), and the service was appalling - I am only a size 12 but was constantly told that "my hips were an issue". Far from feeling like it was a special day, it instead felt thoroughly demeaning. The worst service I have ever experienced - I wouldn't have bought from there even if I had...

I have recently ordered my dress from Pronuptia and couldn't praise them enough. - I rarely fill in review things like this, but they are definately worth it. The staff were so helpful and nothing was too much trouble. I went to Pronuptua in Chester after visiting many bridal shops looking for my dress. The staff here were VERY helpful and unlike some stores were happy for me to try on many different designs of dress as I was not sure of the one I wanted. We thought we would go to Pronuptia in London for their expertise and help in buying a wedding dress and could not have been more disappointed. The assistant was far from friendly and lacking in any experience in helping a bride choose her dress. It seemed she could not wait for us to go so that she could continue her chatting with her colleagues at the front desk. In fact when we said goodbye she did not even look up to acknowledge we were going. I would give this shop a 'nil' rating but you have...

Pronuptia Chester. At first seemed quite friendly but not overly 'warm'. Good range and pricing which swayed the decision. Things went downhill once dresses were ordered, staff were rude, wanted a lot of money up front, added extra charges for adjustments but didn't advise on extra charges coming up, just kept adding...even asked (and upset) bridesmaids during their fittings 'who's paying for this?'despite every request for money being paid immediately! unprofessional. My wedding is now in 4 weeks and they still haven't got my dress. Every time i ring they are no help what-so-ever, and in no way reassuring. They had the date of my wedding when i ordered the dress last year, so i can't understand what the hold-up is.
