Our wedding day was truly perfect, it was simply the best day of our lives. The venue was absolutely beautiful but it was the team at Mountains that really gave us our perfect wedding. Nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff and we had a lovely time. Adding on a surprise guest was done in great secrecy only 24 hours prior to the wedding without the bride knowing....thank you

We are so happy we chose Mountains!! It was just perfect in every way. From the food to the staff we wouldn't have changed a thing. The marque was stunning it made such a difference having a venue where the bar isn't in another area so for the whole evening everybody is together. Shirley gave us a list of suppliers who they recommend which really helped, if you have enough in your budget definitely go for West end Jazz you won't be disappointed.... (read more)

We couldn't recommend them highly enough - any little changes we wanted were accomodated, the food was fantastic, the decoration exactly as we wanted, and the amount of positive feedback we had back from our Guests confirms that it wasn't just us who was impressed! Everything about the day went really well. We loved the beautiful tall redwood trees in the grounds for our photographs and the look of the building. We went for a house wedding and were really pleased with our choice. We have had many people come up to us and say that it was genuinely one of the best weddings they have been to. As father of the groom I want to congratulate the Mountains Country House team. Of particular note from my perspective (I am a musician myself) was the most excellent West End Jazz Trio. Guests were commenting on the day of their high quality. The catering was without peer, I have never before seen such efficient unobtrusive service, nor witnessed such superb cuisine presented in such quality. We held our annual Summer Ball in the Marquee and had access to the house if required. The event was an amazing success to which we have Mountains, Azra Catering, AllBars and especially Apollo Funk to thank for such a wonderful venue, helpful staff, great quality food for our budget and especially our DJ who supplied great music. We had our ceremony and reception at Mountains in April 2010, and could not have chosen a better venue. The house is lovely and is in a stunning location. The day was perfect and went without any hitches at all. The wedding coordinators Shirley and Jenny were very well organized, responsive and helpful throughout.
