Love this mascara. I'm still on the hunt for the Holy Grail of mascaras & this one comes pretty close. Definitely the best on the market at the moment out of the ones that I've tried anyway. I also like the Benefit They're Real but I find it very messy - my eyelashes are quite long so I get mascara all over my eyes. (read more)

i had gorgeous eyelashes but tried false eyelashes and pulled out all my natural lashes taking the extensions off. I'm not used to having bare eyes and its been awful but this mascara really makes my eyes look full again - trust me - right now no other mascara is helping. I tried a sample and am won over. I have used chanel a lot in the past and found that - like all designer mascaras - they dry up quick but for what i want and what i need, this is the best and well worth the dosh until... (read more)

This mascara does a great job in separating the lashes due to the special design of the wand. Though it does get a little clumpy on the second application, but one application is already enough for me, so that is certainly not something that bothers me. It makes my lashes look thicker and longer without clumping and flaking. It also does not smudge. (read more)

Just thought I would share my experience of this fantastic mascara Chanel Inimitable. I have tried nearly every brand on the market, I've always had to use lengthening mascaras and then build up my lashes with thickening ones, so in effect using 2/3 mascaras at a time spending well over £25.00. I came across Chanel after reading up on the internet about other girls experiences with mascara, I thought it was expensive but then I thought, I'm spending more than that on renewing the other... at long last a mascara that does what it says. lashes have never looked so good and i would like to thank the chanel lady for giving it to me as a free gift. the gift alone has lasted 4weeks. so now off to buy the real thing. just like the lipstick and perfume a really classy brand. (read more)

Once you get the hang of it this Chanel mascara is a wonderful product and well worth the price. It makes lashes look mega long and it stays in place without easily smudging and it doesn't flake. It also is quite easy to remove at the end of the day with cleansing wipes or in the shower without leaving panda eyes.
The only problem with this mascara is that is can have a tendency to clump and if you apply just a little too much it looks messy. With this mascara less really is more. I've...

The Chanel Inimitable Mascara is a Hit and Miss for me.
I bought this mascara after reading hyped reviews, and thought it sounded like it was exactly what i was after.
With all the excitiment i couldn't wait to try it on. I have worn it a couple of times now and it is evident that no more than one layer can be put on your eyelashes, unless you want it to look like one big mess (or one big eyelash!!). I literally have 6 Mascaras in my makeup bag (Loreal, Clinique, MAC, DIORSHOW, Estee Lauder...

It has been so hard to find a mascara that I like, and that my eyes can handle (I wear contact lenses). Chanel Inimitable Mascara goes on very smoothly, and it stays on all day without smudging. The waterproof formula just came out, but I think I'll stay with the regular formula. As with all Chanel products, it is expensive, but definitely worth it. The way I think of it, $27 divided by three months is $10 a month, or the equivalent of two grande lattes. I think I can live with that. (read more)
