  Good Points: Makes your eyes look fluttery and pretty.
  Great for daytime wear.
  Although it is not Waterproof, lasts well throughout the day (does not smear/smudge/flake) even through the odd spots of rain, but still porous enough to come off with a good cleanser/remover.
  

  
  

  Bad Points: This Mascara does not give a BOLD VaVoom look.
  More than one layer makes lashes clog together and look terrible.

  
  

  General comments: The Chanel Inimitable Mascara is a Hit and Miss for me.
  I bought this mascara after reading hyped reviews, and thought it sounded like it was exactly what i was after.
  With all the excitiment i couldn't wait to try it on. I have worn it a couple of times now and it is evident that no more than one layer can be put on your eyelashes, unless you want it to look like one big mess (or one big eyelash!!). I literally have 6 Mascaras in my makeup bag (Loreal, Clinique, MAC, DIORSHOW, Estee Lauder and now Chanel), and my Chanel Inimitable Mascara does give my eyes the most pretty/fluttery look, and it is definitely the nicest to wear for during the day. I do love that fact. However, overdoing it just that tiny amount when applying it just destroys the look.
  
  It is also the only one that does not smudge, flake or smear if rubbed. Lashes also feel lightweight and noticeably lifted.
  
  It does what it says it is meant to do - It separates, it does lift lashes and curl them to an extent, and there is a small amount of volume; but overdo it and add just that little too much, and you have one big mess!
  Not the type of mascara you'd use on a night out to make eye lashes STAND OUT - but definitely the best daywear mascara I have come across.

  Chanel Inimitable Mascara is simply the best mascara I ever bought!! And believe me, I have tried a lot of other famous brands. Does exactly what it promises. No bad points

  I recommend Chanel Inimitable Mascara for people with normal to short eyelashes, as the mascara lengthens the eyelashes. This product does what it says!

  It has been so hard to find a mascara that I like, and that my eyes can handle (I wear contact lenses). Chanel Inimitable Mascara goes on very smoothly, and it stays on all day without smudging. The waterproof formula just came out, but I think I'll stay with the regular formula. As with all Chanel products, it is expensive, but definitely worth it. The way I think of it, $27 divided by three months is $10 a month, or the equivalent of two grande lattes. I think I can live with that.
