    Good Points: Easy to use. Detachable whisk. Less bulky and lighter than more expensive machines. Achieves the same results for less money.


    Bad Points: Mixing bowl small


    General comments: The Breville SHM2 Food Mixer is a lighter, smaller machine than I have used before which is easy to use and does the job it is supposed to do. However when making large cakes such as christmas cake another bowl is needed therefore having a removable whisk is a good solution. This machine is also good for beginners.

    The Breville SHM2 is a very good mixer, however after having mine for 18 month one of the whisks has broken. This product is now obsolete and you cannot get spare parts for it. Having contacted the manufacturer
    they said there is nothing they can do. I Would not recommend it.
