“Dough mixer”

Might be me or there is a piece missing. I make a lot of bread. Just bought this machine. When using the dough hooks, I find the dough climbs up the hooks all the way into to the machine. Surely there should be a collar on the end of the hook or am I missing something. Service & support, not used it yet so I will go for 3 stars (read more)

The Breville SHM2 Food Mixer is a lighter, smaller machine than I have used before which is easy to use and does the job it is supposed to do. However when making large cakes such as christmas cake another bowl is needed therefore having a removable whisk is a good solution. This machine is also good for beginners. (read more)

The Breville SHM2 is a very good mixer, however after having mine for 18 month one of the whisks has broken. This product is now obsolete and you cannot get spare parts for it. Having contacted the manufacturer they said there is nothing they can do. I Would not recommend it. (read more)
