This kit is great for thoes who are just beggining or are playing shows every night.I got this this set(used) for a birthday about a year ago and have been playing it ever since. I gave the sound quality a low score only because of the heads. All you need to do is change the heads to Remo clear 2-ply pinstripe and you will find they can produce a great sound(best tom sound i have had in a long time). I have played this kit in small rooms just jamming with friends and played many shows with this kit and would recommend this to anyone looking for a good quality kit for your money.

The Yamaha Stage Custom Noveau is One of The Best Intermediate Kits on The Market, The Quality of The Drums are Superb, The Hardware is So Simple is Used By Professionals All Over The World Sipley Because Its So Easy and Light! I Would Happly By This Kits Agian If I Was to Go Back. The Shells are Made of a Maple and Give Whatever Sound u Want Depending on The Sound ur Looking For. The 20" Fusion is Small and Compact, With a Nice Sound But The 22" Rock Give a Very Loud Sound With is Equally Great ...

Very good sound quality, the crash and ride sound ace. Everything about it is amazing. The Bass Drum is slightly weak. Overall, fantastic.

The Yamaha 5 Piece Drum Kit is top of the line without the high price tag. Yamaha have put all their technical clout into this one, so it has the feel of a kit at twice the price. If you move to this from a starter kit, then you'll be ecstatic at the difference. The lug designs and "free-floating" tom brackets mean the ressonance is kept to a minimum. It comes with Remo heads (never a bad thing), and has a real quality feel to it, and it sounds great, especially the snare which is nothing sh ...

I just got this recently. Unfortunately I cant play it on its own because of neighbours so I have to use silencers. When I was using it without silencers though its a lovely kit so get it if you play the drums.
