Good Points: Very refined ride, comfortable & quiet. Superb quality and feels very solid
Bad Points: Nothing to worry about
General comments: I have owned my CRV since November, and am very pleased with it so far. The gearbox, while not as smooth as my previous car, a Toyota Verso, is certainly in keeping with its overall package as a 4x4. On my first long trip, to the South of France for Christmas, both my wife and myself felt the refinement on the motorways was excellent. On a recent trip from the south coast to London, driving fairly gently I achieved 52mpg, which for a car of this size is great. Normal driving I obtain approx 41 - 42 mpg. The on board computer is very accurate whereas previous cars I have owned are very optimistic. I test drove the RAV when I was deciding which car to buy, and felt the CRV was head and shoulders above it for everyday driving. I was a little disappointed with the engine at first, just at idle and pulling away, but as the miles are increasing either I'm getting used to it or it is getting smoother.
I don't intend going off road, but like the higher driving position this style of vehicle offers, but its nice to have the four wheel drive if the conditions are slippery.
Overall I'm absolutely delighted with it.

The Honda CR-V 2.2 i-CTDi could be great if the gear change was smoother, I have spoken to Honda direct & the local dealer & they only ask to run the car in more. I am a company vehicle driver & I have had many vehicles over the years & I can tell that it is not going to improve. I have completed approx' 4000 miles And have had 2 other faults also, one after a two weeks holiday & not using the car the battery was flat, the breakdown agency confirmed the battery had not been fully charged on deli ...
