Good Points: You can't fault Alfa Romeo for styling and sheer beauty. But that beauty is still only skin deep.

Bad Points: Terrible after-sales service from the dealership I bought it from, and from the dealership I transferred the warranty to when I moved from Leeds to Edinburgh. On top of that, there's the chronic depreciation which is hard to take when you, like me, have barely topped 16,000 miles in the car over 2 years of ownership. Then, there's the thorny issues of electrical and build quality generally which means that the car will inevitably spend a lot of time in the dealership garage, and you will spend an inordinate amount of time in taxis or buses instead.

General comments: In two years of ownership I've had to have the following issues addressed:
    1. Replacement indicator stalk required - because the first one simply disintegrated with normal use.
    2. Replacement RPM sensor as a result of a Motor System Sensor Failure - after only 14,000miles.
    3. Worst of all, a leak from the air conditioning system into the passenger footwell, which I didn't notice until it was too late, and the footwell carpet was drenched, and effectively ruined the carpet and left a terrible musty odour in the car. A right kick in the backside and a big hit to the wallet (on top of hefty depreciation).
