    Bad Points: not robust


    General comments: The Mountfield Princess is a good mower, quiet and a good cutter, but my chassis has been broken by a stone pick up.

    Although it may look a bit strange the Mountfield Princess is well built and very quiet when running. Although not the largest sized motor it ploughed through my lawn that had only been strimmed 4 times in two years. The height adjuster is easy enough to use but there are no preset heights so you have to judge yourself the ride height. Grass collection is good even on damp stuff.
    As i said the height adjuster has no indication as to how high the unit is sitting so you have to judge this for you ...

    You won't go wrong with one of these lawn mowers. My Mountfield Princess 14 lawn mower has been a gem to use for 18 years now! I'll happily buy the same model if it was to ever pack in!
