    Good Points: Good Voice

General comments: The voice is very nice. Then I found many problems with battery, my
Ericsson T66 goes dead when I for any length of time on it.

I've brought my T66 mobile phone in August 2002 and I had the same problems with the keypad especially the off/no pad. In February 2003 I've bing it back to theshop to use my gurantee. The Dealer send it back to the ericcson company and after four weeks ericsson sends back a complete new phone with different imei and since them it works perfect. The only worst thing in my eyes is the stand-by time...I LOVE MY T66!!!

My Ericsson T66 is 12 months old, well used and still looks as new. Never had any problems so no need to replace. This is without doubt one of the best phones I have ever had and I include the nokia 8850 which cost me a fortune in repairs.

Kepad stops working after a month, fixed by CPW stops working again after 6 weeks even after being carried around in a plastic case.
The problem is DUST getting under the keys - means you cant't reall carry it around in your pocket which defeats the purpose of having a small phone. The reception is also very poor - Doesn't work in my house. Also quite often get a SOS Calls only and No Network - everyone elses (bigger) phones work. Sometimes the screen blanks out for no reason and I have to pow ...

Bought my phone in September 2002 and was very satisfied with it for the first six months. After that it has been a true nightmare!!

First the keys stopped working but that's for dirt very easily gets under the keys. Because it's small the keys touch the plate directly, there's no plastic/rubber between that stops dirt from getting in. I took it in and they cleaned it telling me the reason free of charge.

Next it started showing "NO NETWORK" display and "SOS CALLS ONLY" display for long ti ...

I only bought this because it looked so smart, I've mostly had Nokia's. First T66 I got kept cutting out, losing signal. I got billed for lots of 10 second calls. Took it back to Carphone Warehouse and they supplied another with no quibble. Since when I've had NO problems. Signal is OK, sound quality is OK. WAP seems a bit slow but hey, this is an extra small, light package. I love it.

More time was spent making the T66 the world's smallest phone and not on functionality or reliability.
    The games aren't bad though.

I have to say I was drawn to this Ericsson T66 phone because of its size and tri-band compatability.
But only after a short space of time did the nightmare begin.
The keys have a habit of not working, and if you are like me, keeping the phone in your pocket only increases the problem.
The reason for this is, because of it's small size the keys are operated directly against the circuit board of the phone.
This works thus...when you press the keys you infact press down a small metal pad which ...

I bought mine 8 months ago from PHONES 4u. Within 8 weeks the top half of the keypad was playing up. I had it sent away for repairs and it came back with an Arabic keypad!!!
Then the volume control went... Then the keypad... Oh, and the reception's awful too... even in Central London (My Nokias and Motorolas were fine (so was my T68!)
The only good thing I have to say is that I can ditch it in a few months... Ericsson can kiss my custom goodbye.

After 3 months, my phone was working very strangly. First of all yes and no buttons weren't working properly. The t66 tried to connect to the network but it found with difficulty. At the end t66 couldn't find network and the phone can't open. If you find a good working t66, it is very beautiful and easy to use phone .BUT BE CAREFUL.

The Ericsson T66 cell phone's very handy and practical to use. It has all the basic functions of a cellphone that suits a very mobile person like me. Until now, many are still amazed by the size...it never fails to amaze the people I meet. They won't believe that it's a phone the first time they see it. They think it's a toy, haha. There's no problem with the signal. It's very strong even if I move from island to island here in the Philippine archipalago. One of the things I hate about it is th ...

This phone has one main advantage - it's size. It doesn't feature all the latest gadgets, and it's not even colour - but it does what its supposed to do.. So in that way it's quite business-like (it also has alarm, calandar and a couple of games - but none of these are that fancy compared to the latest mobile phone offerings).
But it looks cool, there aren't many of them around and it - come on - it's smaller than a credit card, so you probably won't even notice you carrying it!
    Overall - very ...

The Ericsson T66 has good reception even if you are in a remote area. Smallest available size in the market for the mobile devices.
