    Bad Points: there are very little bad points. The one thing i can say is the more you spend on the gt i drive range the better spec you will get. But thats true in every thing you buy i gess.


    General comments: I have owned a gt i drive now for 8 years or so and its been a nice ride and has never really let me down. I have changed a few parts over the years but the frame is still strong.
    The frame and the full suspension. The dog bone at the bottom of the crank is well designed. I have v-brakes on mine and i have really never had the need for disc brakes. The v-brakes are simple to fix and the pads are cheap. I think that brian 102 has had abit of bad luck with his bike and i think that maybe the shop where he bought it from was abit micky mouse and not well trained or they did not know how to set up/fix this sort of bike.

    Overall regret buying this GT I-Drive bike - been one problem after the next.
    Unreliable gears, unreliable brakes (yea shop say's never seen hydraulic brakes fail - guess what on this it does, dumb design about sums it up.
    Spent the last 8 month of owning this using my old one bike - fraction of the price but it works and works and works. The I-drive spends most of its time being repaired
    You end up having zero confidence in this bike.
    Sorry if this is all negative maybe I just bought a Frida ...

    very good single pivot suspension, the GT I-drive works perfectly

    The GT I-Drive is a great bike, i love everything about this bike. I haven't had it long but its a lot of fun to ride
