    Good Points: .

General comments: I bought this Claud Butler Cape Wrath D24 2007 bike as my first bike in many many years and must admit that, after borrowing a much pricier bike, I did not think I would be able to get a bike that rode as well, stopped better and generally felt just as solid with a similar build quality - but I did.

As I parted with my cash I did have reservations about what my small budget of £250 could get me but I needn't have worried for a beginner or for someone who wants a dependable bike to help lose the pounds it's perfect and...it's good on the mud!

    Highly recommended!

Very comfortable , feels briliant to ride and it can deliver performance whenever you need it. The Claud Butler Cape Wrath is a brilliant bike to own. I did however find the Zap 2000 tyres a bit tricky on the road

I borrowed a friends £800 mtb for a weekend expedition and when i came home, i bough one of these. riding the cape wrath, i could hardly tell the difference between it and the bike twie as expensive. superb bike. Im going to be using it next year to ride the 800 miles from joh o' groats to lands end in the UK. It woul have been nice to have a lock off suspension set but the adjustable one is good enough.

Got bike about a week or so ago, haven't used it much yet but all seems good to me at the moment. I upgraded forks to Marzocchi MX Pro LO cos I wanted lock-out and something a bit stronger. Excellent bike for the money!
