Bad Points: Terrible customer service.
Slow response.
Unable to confirm if a refund is available for returns.

General comments: I, like many other people, use online shops for buying fashion goods these days. We all take risks when we order online, as we don't have the chance to see the goods themselves before we buy them.

I recently ordered a pair of Marc Jacobs shoes from Accessories Lounge. I received them and they were dirty around the heel, so I sent them back. After a week of hearing nothing from the website, I called them up and spoke to a very unhelpful gentleman, who told me that the dirt could have been removed with a damp cloth. Now, A) it's not my responsibility to clean new shoes, and if I'd damaged them further, they wouldn't have accepted my return; B) is it really necessary to make me feel like I'm stupid and could have done such a simple task myself, and C) would it really have taken them a week to remove it with a damp cloth?

He then went on to make comments about "knowing what women are like about shoes" and "having to agree to disagree" about quality issues, either they are clean or not.

Needless to say, I did not ask them to return the damp cloth cleaned shoes, and I am now awaiting my refund. Hopefully I won't have to add to this review in another week if my refund doesn't show up!!
