Ordered online only to have an email from them to say they had cancelled an order because of a "security problem". I phoned them up and not only could they not tell me what the problem was, but they would not resolve it. It was as if they did not want the business. I would avoid like the plague, probably the worst customer service experience (and most baffling) I've ever had. (read more)

Was worried about this website after seeing some negative reviews on here, but can't find anything to complain about myself! I found the BCD I wanted and it was at a lower price than any other website or SCUBA shop I had come across. Moreover I was able to get next day delivery for just £1, which was very helpful. I was kept informed regularly by text and email about the status of my order, and was even given the precise hour which it would be delivered in, so no need to wait in all day.... (read more)

I ordered several times with them. There are laways late and poor in communication. But the last time was the worst. I ordered a reg and first stage. They got it wrong between DIN and YOKE. Quite a basic mistake! I sent at least 10 emails and call several time. I am still waiting for an answer ... please watch out !!!! (read more)

Living over sea's and did the order via phone and dealt with Mitch who could not have been more helpful. He even phoned back to say the colour of fins weren't in stock and would I want to wait for them to come in or chose another colour. I havnt bought anything from Deep Blue for years, reason for this is I was in the shop years ago wanting to buy a new Semi dry suit, the customer service was terrible, I was told "there all upstairs, tell me the make you want and Ill get it" so no having a look at the selection..haha nevermind,, its them that lost the sale( I bought one from the diving centre in newscastle) Then I was in having my cylinder filled, the young sales lad filled my bottle as quick as he could, could barely touch... Ordered 2x regs & guages having looked on-line & spoken to Deep Blue Diving. The website was showing in stock & at no time did the sales person say goods were not in stock & was promised 3-5days delivery of goods. Now seven days later I have called Deep Blue to chase order only to be told they are still waiting for the goods from the manufacturer. Shockingly bad service, will never ever use again or recommend to anyone, companies of this quality will not survive for long if they continue... (read more)

I don't normally write reviews but having read a number of negative reviews for this company I thought that I should let people know of my experience with them. Having read the reviews for this retailer I was a bit trepidatious about ordering from them but given that they were the best price by far for the kit I needed, I decided to give them a go and have absolutely no regrets. I placed an order using the company's website and the next day had a call saying that it had not been taken correctly. Their computer system's had made a mistake and I would have to pay a further £50 if I still wanted everything. I eventually spoke with the manager and he agreed to provide the full package for a further £30 instead of the £50. My son ordered an LED torch for my birthday from this shambles of a company, he ordered it in good time for my next diving trip however, Chris and his incompetent bunch of colleagues decided that they wouldn't post the item out BUT they would tell us that they had posted it. Refuse to buy anything from the shop due to the unbelievable level of arrogance of the staff, particularly the AR$EHOLE who runs the gunroom. Avoid at all costs.
Ps, little tip for the staff: Don't have a few pints in the pub at lunch time and then face customers, I could smell the alcohol on your breath a mile away (read more)

I have now placed 4 orders with www.deepbluedive.com and all have been delivered on time and on top of that they have actually delivered the goods I have ordered (unlike another company who I have had to chase on several occasions and am still waiting for the goods, diveline). I can not really comment on there customer service as I have only communicated with them via the web page and as the goods I have ordered have arrived I have had no reason to get in touch with them afterwards. I bought 10 litres 300 bar tank,I got it yesterday,the first thing that I noticed it was more than one year old.Next day I took it to the Diving Centre
to fill it up,after one minute it was connected to the system,the seal got burst.So I made call to the Deep Blue Dive,it wasn't helpfull,so I took the

I purchased a gun cabinet from deepbluedive.com.
I paid for a delivery of before 12 noon. The item never arrived. I even emailed them and they replied saying "Item will be there today". The item never arrived.

After reading the reviews on this website i so wish i didnt bother with Deep Blue Dive Centre.
Firstly i asked to pay extra for delivery of my Tusa Platina Hyperdry snorkel to insure i would recieve my goods on time. Having phoned the order though and spoke to a young man i was assured i would recieve the goods the next day.

Product never arrived after waiting 25 days for a product that should have been delivered. Was able to track item and it was returned to deepbluedive because invoices werent with item therefore it couldnt be sent abroad. Price was good at Deep Blue Dive Centre, delivery was prompt, but cylinder was leaking. Called the shop and they agreed to pay for postage cost of sending the item back, and a replacement would be sent by 1st class post. So I was promised, but no. They took 2 days for the "tecnician" to have a look, and when he finally did, he said there was no leak with the cylinder. Recently I received a free catalogue for Deep Blue Dive Centre with Diver Magazine and found a couple of bits I was after. According to the companies website both items were in stock so I placed an order and was sent a confirmation that the goods had been sent by next day courier. So the next day I made sure there was someone around when the courier arrived. But he never did. Ordered two items from Deep Blue Dive Centre which were meant to be dispatched on the day of ordering. A week later they were still not dispatched with no explanation. Any emails I sent asking about my order were ignored. Item described as in stock on web site (and still is, several weeks later) but is actually out of stock. However they charged my credit card as soon as order was received.
Deep Blue Dive Centre acknowledged my order but no communication from them since - I have to do all the chasing.

I ordered a weight belt that was listed as in stock, not exactly an unusual item for a dive shop. The confirmation email came through immediately and said that dispatch was imminent and an email would be sent if there was a problem. ordered monday. sent confirmation following saturday that they had shipped order by parcelforce and included track and trace no.: on parcelforce's track and trace I could see that the goods was first picked up monday and registered in parcelforces systems.

I ordered some dive stuff from www.deepbluedive.com at the end of April 2008 to be sent to the Canary Islands. They were only too happy to give me a delivery price of just under £10. After some weeks I entered the tracking number for Parcel Force and it seemed my package went on a journey via france, germany, spain and ended up in Newcastle. Placed the order came quickly but had the wrong items and wrong size in clothing, when questioned they said they had no stock so just sent the nearest thing / size to what I ordered without asking me. I've found customer service shocking, they advised us of one delivery date then told us that for extra money they could guarantee 1-2 days delivery. I am now 1 week on and still waiting. I've had two emails ignored and on telephoning them they do not accept liability and wont refund the delivery cost furthermore the operative couldn't wait to get off the phone. (read more)

Despite the new Deep Blue Dive Centre flashy catalogue delivered with last months Sports Diver magazine, giving the illusion of a fantastic shopping opportunity, the rest of the experience of online shopping with this company has been very disappointing indeed. True to say the initial order arrived very quickly. However, as one item was not what I ordered, I have sent it back. I felt that there was absolutely no level of customer service whatsoever. I ordered a scubapro ex dive school BCD and Reg set which was advertised as 'mint condition' and with an R395 octopus. I received a kit that was more scratched than I was expecting and with an R295 octopus.
