Had an excellent holiday in the very well appointed Casa-Penn apartment, which was very spacious and homely, the new kitchen and bathroom are stunning. The Rocha Brava complex is extremely well kept, clean and has a nice serenity about it, feels very classy. The 3 swimming pools are all good and each have separate kiddie paddling pools. The Reception staff at the complex couldn't be more helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Theres also some very picturesque beaches close by esp the beautiful Marinha beach.
Carvoeiro village is very pretty and has a wealth of nice restaurants, it was difficult to choose where to eat as there are so many good ones.
All in all, couldn't fault the holiday

Note there are two main categories of apartment at Brava Apartments. The " T " is the standard unit, and may be considered by some to be basic. No dishwasher or microwave in the kitchen, and only one bathroom. The " V " type is called Luxurious. That may be going a step too far but it is certainly better kitted out, larger, and often has a sea view, which the " T " normally doesn't. There is obviously a difference in price.
There is a free children's club, which varies in organisation. At the start of the season, May/June it can be somewhat lacking in quality: although our daughter seems very happy with what goes on (aged 7) the complex feels very secure.
The pools are very good.
