Easy booking and effificent when leaving my sports performance car there for a week and jokingly took a picture of the speedo. On my return they quickly picked us up in their rusty old mini bus and returned the keys. Once I was back into the car looked at the picture I previously took and match it to the speedometer and 11 miles had been done and a scratch on the door and filthy. NEVER trust these guys and pay the extra for the airport parking, I will be next time!!! (read more)

park your car here. we had problems with the way our car had been left and confronted the staff to view our concerns only to be verbally abused and intimidated by all the staff that were present. we could not believe that they could use such language in front of children. i would never park there again and after speaking to a legal adviser about what happened to us he said that because it is private land it would be their word against ours. so take our advise pay a bit extra and park... I hadn't booked parking in advance, so rather than pay the extortionate parking fees demanded by the airport I visited a few of the places offering parking on the A38 near the airport. The Airport Tavern offered the cheapest parking at £25 for a week, so I foolishly paid and left my keys without reading the small print on the contract I had just signed. While traveling to Bristol airport on their dirty minibus I noticed that the small print stated "airport tavern parking will not accept any... (read more)

Car was returned "washed", closer inspection revealed bodywork scratched all over and a cracked/split bumper with the bottom of the car and wheel arches caked in mud. Despite the car initially parked next to the Tavern it had been moved and carelessly driven in a field to cause the damage which ended up costing me 500 pounds. Despite the owners promise of a full refund this never materialised with him ignoring my texts, e-mails and phone calls. I am currently investigating legal advice... (read more)

Yes tatty bus transfers you but what would you expect for the price? Picked us up promptly and anyone that says that they nearly missed their check in didn't leave enough time as only minutes away so even if busy it wouldn't take long to get to airport. (read more)

The only reason that these are still in business is because it is the nearest car park to Bristol Airport otherwise it would have closed a long time ago. However, with only one girl in the dirty reception area, the other man had not turned in that morning, as he hasn't for the past two years, and one van driver with a very tatty van. Arrived there in plenty of time when it was very busy and just about made the check in time for my flight. Arrived back to find my car window was stuck half... (read more)

Having used the Airport Tavern for a few years for 3 to 4 trips a year purely because they are cheapest it's come back to bite me. They move your car when parking and do not treat it with any care. For the second time they have caused nearly £1000 worth of damage to my car which I'll end up losing my no claims discount! The transfers are in a tatty old vans that feel unsafe and although some of the staff are friendly, not sure you'd wont to meet them in a dark alley.
Never again.

On arrival we were treated like our booking was a bit of a chore for them. We were told booking had not gone through correctly so had to pay again. Their card machine was not working (they said) so we had to pay cash, leaving us a little short! On return we had to ring 3 times and it was 45 minutes before we were actually picked up. On picking up the car it was muddy in all 4 car mats! Only 2 of us use the car so heaven knows how all the mud got in the back. Front seat had a tear in it... (read more)

Arrived at parking area and went into the office to be greeted by a man smoking a cigarette, office smelled like an ash tray. (I am a smoker).
Was taken to airport in a tatty minibus. Upon return was given car keys and found that car had mud all up the sides and muddy footprints in front driver and passenger footwells. Will not use again.

I was treated quite rudely when I arrived, as if having to arrange transfer to the airport was a bit of an inconvienience. When I rang on return it took me 20 minutes to get an answer and I was told pick-up would be 10 minutes. After another 20 minutes I rang back and was told that at the change of shifts the previous driver had taken the minibus keys with him and they were waiting to get them back! Wasn't picked up for over an hour from when I first tried ringing. My complaints about... (read more)

I have used this car park a few times, however the last couple of times(thinking it might get better) my car was left in a mess with muddy footprints. Along with this the young chap who was taking bookings represented athug nature and was rude to clients, didn't really care for the business. The place is shabby, transport shabby, again however apart from one chap mentioned earlier the staff are generally pleasent. Will have to start to reconsider using as it's not worth the hassle of having... (read more)

We have used this Tavern 5 times now, they are quick to check you in, the bus is always there and ready to take you and bring you back. Its more convenient then the airport car park and easy to find. Yes the place looks a bit shabby but we're not the ones working in there and its not where they keep the cars.!! We've had no problems at all. (read more)

Airport Tavern Parking prices seemed to have gone up recently, so I tried to find a cheaper alternative. I wish I hadn't. I called the number I was given when we were dropped off at the airport, was taken back to the parking to find that they had no record of our car on their system. We were waiting with another couple whose car had also gone missing. Another man's car battery had gone flat as the staff member who parked it left the lights on (and they were doing nothing to help). They... (read more)

Quick airport transfer both depart and return. On collection car was in a very muddy condition both external and internal, the floor well in front and rear of car was covered with mud footprints. The car had to be completely valeted on return home. I have previously used alternate airport parking and the car was never returned in such a dirty condition, I shall park elsewhere in future. We had similar experience. When we arrived they had no record of our internet booking. We had to pay again, it had to be in cash as their credit card machine was not working (they said). When we got back we were ringing for half an hour before we got an answer. Pickup then was quite quick but when we got to the car park they had not brought our car back yet. Some confusion as to where it was but they found it, we had to wait in a freezing metal box that serves as an office while this... (read more)

When we arrived they had no details of our on line booking. We had to pay again, in cash as their card machine was out of order (they said). We we came back we had to keep ring for 20 minutes before they answered. When they took us back to the pick up the car hadn't been brought back and we had to wait another twenty minutes. From starting to ring to getting into our car took over an hour. We are now having to get the money back from our credit card company for the original booking. (read more)

You pay a reasonable rate to park very close to the airport unlike some which are based on farms in the middle of nowhere or on site for a premium. We have used this twice and the farm once and will use it again. Pick up was swift and so was the drop off. What more could you ask? (read more)

I was told that the car would be moved to secure parking about 4 miles away. When I returned (I had to wait over half an hour to be picked up) I found that all of the car mats had muddy footprints on, mud on tha back of the front seats and over 40 miles put on the clock. I know I am right as I log all my milage for expenses and I am the only one who travels in the car. I complained but got nowhere. (read more)

We waited 40 minutes to be picked up from the airport. Had to call three times before we found anyone who could understand what we were saying. We could have walked there and back by the time someone came to get us.
On arrival at the car park they had lost all details of our car, which made us think it had been booked under the wrong name and the wrong date. After ten minutes the Airport Tavern offered us a cup of coffee whilst someone went to find it. The coffee never arrived,...
