The Edgar Brothers Model 33 .177 is a very good rifle for price, looks and shooting . A bit picky on ammo (hates german pellets )but i have found that the Milbro range fit well and so do SMK.I have the .177 and it is excellent for shooting up to 35yds, my gun dogs are being spoilt on on a daily basis. I am using a JSR 6-24x50 scope on it as well as a lazer for vermin control.

    First Impressions

This was my first ever air rifle although I've been shooting CO2 pistols for about 2 years now, I specifically asked at the gun shop for a basic rifle to get started with. The model 33 is a basic rifle, no fancy bits of brass or chrome on it, but with its all black weatherproof plastic stock it really does look the business, sort of mean looking. Holding it to my shoulder for the first time I was impressed by how comfortable and well balanced it is.
