Good Points: It's a MESH Comes with some good software Good processing power with ATI technology
Bad Points: Installing the included Anti Virus software crashed the system and destroyed my life after only having the computer for a week With good parts, this'll set you back a lot of money Tendency to brake
General comments: I ordered my MESH Matrix with custom parts a while ago now - as a gaming machine.
First impressions were very good - 20.1'' monitor (the biggest available at the time) and the tower itself was a decent size to allow for good ventilation and cooling.
It took a while to get Windows XP validated, but once this was complete, a wave of unrestricted freedom washed over me. This was down to the graphics card - a Radeon X800 XT Platinum Edition - top notch for 2004.
With powerful components such as above, I could potentially play any game I wanted to at full - shading, lighting, etc all at full - with no loss in frame rate or performance.
As I understand it, MESH computers come default with ATI processors - I have found these to be far better than Intel.
Three years on, and since I purchased my MESH I've been forced to reformat the whole system 6 or 7 times, for various reasons. This is an extremely painful and slow process and does let the side down a lot.
Despite this major set back, customising a MESH Matrix computer is a very wise move.
If you decide to go ahead and customise one for yourself, then I wish you luck with the whole reformatting business.
